The most effective way to do away with the spread of toxic progressive ideology is to eliminate its advocates from positions of \u2063power.<\/p>\n<p>Diversity, Equity and Inclusion officers\u2064 are like queens in the progressive anthills of corporations and universities. The good news? They\u2019re beginning to die \u2064off.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/chief-diversity-officer-cdo-business-corporations-e110a82f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wall Street Journal<\/a> published an article \u2063by Te-Ping Chen and Lauren Weber \u200cthis month entitled, \u2062\u201cThe Rise and Fall of the \u2063Chief Diversity\u2064 Officer.\u201d \u200dThe findings will \u2063enrage leftist ideologues.\u2064 Those \u200bwho have been wondering what happened to common \u2063sense can sigh a breath of relief. Conservatives are likely to \u2063cheer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the Journal, Netflix, Disney and \u200cWarner Bros. Discovery\u2064 have recently been rethinking their \u2062progressive stand on DEI to the extent that high-profile diversity, equity and inclusion executives are going to lose their jobs. Just\u200d since last year, thousands of diversity-focused workers\u200b have been laid off.<\/p>\n<p>For\u200b those of us who have been scratching our\u200c heads wondering how and why corporations \u200dever thought \u200cthat\u2062 DEI, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-warns-crt-leftist-gender-theory-schools-biggest-danger-within\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gender theory<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">critical race theory<\/a>, and \u2064the rest of the progressive nonsense would make money, the downfall \u2064of DEI not only makes sense,\u200d it was inevitable. Most people \u2014 no\u2062 matter how many times progressives pump their \u2064lies \u200dthrough establishment media \u2014 don\u2019t buy it, figuratively or literally.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2062other words, though DEI is an effective method for radical progressives to \u200dspread their gospel, it\u2019s bad for business. It was only a matter of time before \u200dcorporate stakeholders \u200bwould notice their\u2062 investments were \u2063suffering because corporate leaders opted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/leftists-will-be-enraged-after-wsj-reveals-latest-trend-of-layoffs-in-the-workplace\/\" title=\"WSJ Exposes Workplace Layoffs, Leftists Outraged\">hire postmodern-infused wokeness<\/a> into their \u2063ranks.<\/p>\n<p>Miriam Warren, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-washington-blm-alliance-begins-lobbying-state-legislature-demands-gov-inslee-declare-racism-a-public-health-crisis\/\" title=\"New \u2018Washington BLM Alliance\u2019 Begins Lobbying State Legislature, Demands Gov. Inslee Declare Racism A Public Health Crisis\">chief diversity officer<\/a> for Yelp, \u2064told the Journal about some of the challenges facing executives \u2062in the DEI field. \u201cThere\u2019s a combination of grief, being very tired, and \u2064being, in some cases, overwhelmed,\u201d Warren said.<\/p>\n<p>I \u2063don\u2019t want to come off as callous, but I could care \u2062less \u2064how Warren feels. How many people has she\u200b damaged while pushing her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-governor-vetoes-bill-protecting-womens-sports-lefts-radical-trans-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/study-democrat-voters-dont-know-what-their-party-stands-for\/\" title=\"Study: Democrat voters don\u2019t know what their party stands for\">radical left agenda<\/a><\/a> into the workplace? She\u2019ll feel better in an honest line of work.<\/p>\n<p>The DEI craze \u200dbegan in \u2062the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-facts-george-floyd-case-lies-myths-fraud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Floyd\u2019s<\/a> death in May 2020. According\u2064 to the outlet, companies rushed to hire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/heres-what-republicans-need-to-do-to-truly-take-on-big-tech\/\" title=\"Here\u2019s What Republicans Need To Do To Truly Take On Big Tech\">chief diversity officers<\/a>. It doesn\u2019t say why the rush occurred, but it must have been \u2063a misguided attempt to claim the moral\u2064 high ground.<\/p>\n<p>Less than half the companies in\u2062 the S&#038;P 500 employed chief diversity officers in 2018. By 2022, 75 percent of those companies had created a position, according to a study from the executive search firm\u200b Russell Reynolds cited by the Journal.<\/p>\n<p>According to a study cited by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theblaze.com\/news\/companies-stop-diversity-equity-hiring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blaze Media<\/a>, the \u200bDEI industry \u2063ballooned to $3.4 billion \u2062in 2020. Since then, chief diversity officers have experienced 40 percent higher turnovers\u2062 than their human \u200dresources counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>Another study found\u200d that\u200b searches\u200c for chief diversity officers dropped by 75 percent over the \u2062last \u2064year. According to Blaze, \u2064a human\u2063 resources expert \u200dclaimed it was the \u200blowest demand he\u2019d witnessed in 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate entities like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/americans-send-bud-light-brutal-message-july-4-sales-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bud Light<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/target-already-feeling-major-financial-pain-conservative-backlash-intensifies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Target<\/a> must have been blinded by the noxious fumes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/class-weeps-joy-sarah-huckabee-sanders-saves-school-progressive-group-steps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">progressive<\/a> excrement accumulating\u2063 in their midst. They lost billions of dollars in revenue by continuing to push the progressive agenda this year.<\/p>\n<p>It appears the\u200d DEI\u2063 craze is fizzling out\u200d in the corporate world,\u2062 a major nesting spot of progressive pests. Thank goodness. Why did it take\u200c so long?<\/p>\n<p>One can\u200d only hope that the universities that serve as breeding\u200c grounds for these vermin will be \u2064next. When \u200cwill academia realize that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-progressive-policies-not-pandemic-hurt-childrens-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">progressive education<\/a> is not\u200d education \u200cbut indoctrination? When enrollment\u2064 plummets \u2063because indoctrinated graduates are bad for business \u2063inside and outside academia?<\/p>\n<p>According to Journal, when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/aoc-gets-lesson-constitution-mouthing-off-supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supreme Court<\/a> overturned affirmative action in\u200b June, \u200dcompanies started anticipating any spillover legal action\u2063 might impact them. Do\u200c the universities see \u200cwhat\u2019s coming, or are they like Bud Light\u200d and Target and cannot see the \u200bforest \u2062for the trees?<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the case, the downward trend in \u200cDEI is a ray of hope on a dark horizon.
