If he\u2019s talking the talk, why not walk \u2064the walk?\u201d said Chansley.<\/p>\n<p>Chansley is not sure\u200b why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jan-6-prisoner-released-federal-prison-look-going-now-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Musk<\/a> does what he does.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wonder why he is doing\u2062 some things,\u200b or \u2064why he isn\u2019t doing more in other areas that are vital to humanity\u2019s survival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also shared his mixed feelings for Trump. The Jan. 6, 2021,\u2062 protest was initially called to protest the 2020 presidential election, then morphed into an incursion where Chansley, face painted red, white and blue and wearing a\u2063 horned helmet, became famous.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI support Trump because he addressed a lot of things that I\u2019m concerned about like human trafficking and slavery, China and\u2064 ending the forever wars in the Middle East,\u201d \u2064Chansley told the Post in an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I\u2019m not a Trump fanboy. He said some things and did some things that I didn\u2019t support. He made a lot\u2062 of appointments in his first term that I don\u2019t agree\u2063 with,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Chansley, an executive\u2062 assistant for a filmmaker who runs a shamanic consultancy as well, also \u2062expressed mixed views on some of his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/elon-musk-throws-weight-behind-qanon-shaman-security-cam-revelation-calls-immediate-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fellow protesters<\/a> from Jan. 6.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere \u2062were people who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-media-outlets-that-gave-a-pass-to-black-lives-matter-and-antifa-violence\/\" title=\"The Media Outlets That Gave A Pass To Black Lives Matter And Antifa Violence\">assaulted police officers<\/a>,\u201d he said. \u200c\u201cThere were people who vandalized the Capitol. I\u2064 don\u2019t care what side of the aisle\u2063 you are on, if you assault a police officer you should be charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chansley still backs the \u201cQ\u201d movement and its messages, called \u201cdrops.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe the Q drops are written by people with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/qanon-shaman-reveals-elon-musks-gracious-offer-while-he-was-in-prison\/\" title=\"'QAnon Shaman' shares Elon Musk's kind prison offer.\">high level security clearances<\/a> who want \u2062to free humanity from the nefarious forces who are attempting to monopolize all the world\u2019s resources and labor through controlling the banks, corporations and governments,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He\u200d now calls himself a libertarian\u2063 centrist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery time the Democrats lose an election they cry\u200b about fraud,\u201d he\u200c told the Post. \u201cEvery time Republicans lose they do the same thing. I\u2019m a centrist.\u200d The centrist view is \u200cthat America\u2019s elections \u2063are corrupt \u2064and \u200dhave been for\u200c decades,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said\u200b he \u200dwill not be invisible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/scaros-capitol-police-guided-qanon-shaman-jan-6-changes-lot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">going forward<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy face has \u200cbecome associated for a lot of people with a desire\u200c for freedom,\u201d he said. \u201cI would be a fool for that message not to get out one way or another.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chansley tried to use videos\u2063 posted by former\u2063 Fox News host Tucker Carlson\u2064 to have his conviction \u2062set aside, but Judge Royce Lamberth rejected that, saying the pieces Carlson played did not tell the whole story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese \u2064videos are decidedly not exculpatory,\u201d \u200dLamberth wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch footage, \u200cconveniently omitted by the [Fox News] program, shows nearly all of Mr. Chansley\u2019s actions that day,\u2063 including: carrying a six-foot-long pole armed with a spearhead, unlawfully entering the \u200bCapitol\u2064 through a broken door, disobeying\u2064 orders from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-red-wave-of-conservative-women-elected-to-congress\/\" title=\"The Red Wave of Conservative Women Elected to Congress\">law enforcement<\/a> on more than a half-dozen occasions, screaming obscenities, entering the Senate chamber, climbing onto the Senate dais, sitting in\u200d the Vice President\u2019s chair, and leaving \u2064a threatening message \u200cfor\u200d the Vice President,\u201d the<a href=\"https:\/\/ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov\/cgi-bin\/show_public_doc?2021cr0003-127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> judge<\/a> wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat \u200claw enforcement officers outnumbered by the quantity of rioters did not physically engage Mr. Chansley or impede his progress is irrelevant,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Re Jake \u200bChansley \u2014 disappointed with the\u2063 outcome but always recognized this was an \u201cuphill\u201d battle. Jake pled guilty and admitted his conduct in \u200dsignificant detail.
