I want \u200cyou to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie,\u200d television show. I didn\u2019t want\u200d you to see \u2064me with tubes running out \u200bof \u200dme and, and trying to\u2064 figure out if I was going to make it through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Foxx credited his sister Deidra Dixon and his daughter Corinne Marie\u200b with quickly getting him the medical \u200battention\u200c that he needed to save his life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot tell you how great it \u2063feels \u2063to have your family kick \u200cin in such a way, and y\u2019all know they \u2062kept it airtight, they didn\u2019t let\u2064 anything out, they protected me and that\u2019s \u200bwhat I hoped that everyone could\u2063 have in moments like these,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Foxx slammed rumors that some have spread about his medical\u200c condition, dismissing them \u200bas false.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went to hell and \u200bback,\u201d he said.\u200b \u201cAnd my road to \u200drecovery\u2064 had some potholes as well. But \u2062I\u2019m coming back and I\u2019m able to work so I want\u2062 to thank people that \u200clet me work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Foxx then addressed \u2062the emotions that he expressed in his\u200d video, \u200dsaying that he will from time-to-time break down\u200b crying\u200b in the future given the enormity \u200cof the crisis he experienced.<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd if you\u2062 see me\u200d out from now on and every\u200d once in\u200d a \u200dwhile\u2063 I just burst into tears, it\u2019s because it\u2019s been\u200d tough\u2063 man. I was \u2062sick, man,\u201d he said. \u201cBut now I\u2019ve got my \u2063legs underneath, so you\u2019re gonna see me out. But like I said, \u200cI just want \u200cyou\u2062 to remember me for the jokes that I crack, the movies that I make,\u200c some\u200c of \u200cthem good, \u200dsome of them ain\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m here on earth because \u200dof \u2062some great people,\u201d \u200che concluded. \u201cI\u2019m here on earth because of God, man.
