Either\u200c that \u200bor corporate liberals feel that they \u2064don\u2019t \u2062have to virtue signal \u2063their support for the \u201cBlack Lives Matter\u201d mob anymore.<\/p>\n<p>A new\u200b report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/chief-diversity-officer-cdo-business-corporations-e110a82f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a> \u2063reveals that in 2018,\u200b \u201cless than half the companies \u2062in the S&#038;P 500 employed \u2064someone\u201d in the CDO role, but by 2022 \u2014 in the wake of the BLM movement \u2063\u2014 nearly 75%\u200c of S&#038;P 500 \u2062companies had that role. Since\u200d then, companies have\u200c experienced a 40% turnover, and job seekers are\u2063 reportedly \u201cskittish\u201d about taking\u2062 on a role that focuses \u200dsquarely on diversity. Jason Hanold, chief \u200cexecutive of Hanold Associates Executive Search, \u2064told The \u200dJournal that job searches for the CDO role have plummeted.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re telling us, the only way I want to go \u200cinto\u200c another role with DEI is\u2064 if it includes something\u200b else,\u201d Hanold said of job seekers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One former executive \u2063at one \u200bof Boston\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/corporate-america-shows-signs-of-buyers-remorse-after-blowing-millions-on-diversity-officers\/\" title=\"Corporate America regrets spending millions on 'diversity officers'.\">largest employers admitted<\/a> to The \u200dJournal \u200bthat those \u2064who were hired as a CDO or \u2062a similar position were sometimes under-qualified \u200ccandidates. They were put in the slot due to their ethnicity.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThese were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-this-will-decimate-policing-as-we-know-it-detroit-police-chief-tears-into-george-floyd-justice-in-policing-act\/\" title=\"WATCH: \u2018This Will Decimate Policing As We Know It\u2019: Detroit Police Chief Tears Into George Floyd Justice In Policing Act\">knee-jerk reactions<\/a>,\u201d said Dani Monroe, the former CDO of Mass General Brigham,\u2064 a Boston-based hospital system.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In other words, corporate America knelt to \u2062the \u2062mob in 2020 that was burning down cities, demanding reparations, and chanting \u201cSilence is compliance!\u201d and rushed to placate them. We know they did \u2062because \u2063data shows that billions were given\u200b to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/new-analysis-corporate-america-has-donated-82-billion-to-blm-related-causes-so-far\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BLM and related causes<\/a> in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>The CDO positions\u200d that popped, \u2063it stands to\u200c reason, were simply the corporate window dressing to appease woke employees and future job seekers \u2014\u200d not \u2064to mention protect\u200d ESG\u2062 rankings. CDO\u2064 jobs acted as a corporate\u200b sign\u2063 of solidarity\u2062 and nothing more.<\/p>\n<p>Funnily enough, The Journal \u2062observed, \u201cPeople\u2062 are more resistant to company-backed\u200b efforts to advance diversity when they are worried about their own jobs, \u200cwhether because of impending layoffs or disruptions from \u200dAI, says David Kenny, chief \u2063executive of Nielsen, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-newsguard-is-just-as-bad-as-the-pro-censorship-global-disinformation-index\/\" title=\"Why NewsGuard Is Just As Bad As The Pro-Censorship Global Disinformation Index\">media-ratings company<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1690029339199000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1aBZKXZOsvkW3aRCKp8ThD\">CLICK HERE \u2064TO GET THE\u2063 DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Journal also noted that \u201c[e]fforts \u200bto restructure compensation to make it more equitable created a backlash,\u201d amongst companies that claim to\u2064 want to increase \u200ddiversity.<\/p>\n<p>And that right there is a tale as old as time.\u200b Liberals claim they want one thing \u2014 such\u2062 as reducing poverty, particularly amongst\u2064 minorities \u2014 yet don\u2019t actually want to personally sacrifice to make \u2064that happen. They want illegal aliens, but not in their towns.
