These rules, which include &#8220;behavioral standards,&#8221; have already resulted in one conservative outlet losing its \u2062seat in the room.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from July 31, journalists who wish \u200dto renew their &#8220;hard passes&#8221; for \u2063White House press briefings must adhere \u2062to the updated guidelines. Fred Lucas, the Chief News Correspondent and\u200d Manager \u200cof the Investigative Reporting\u2063 Project at The Daily Signal, has held\u200d a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lgbtq-activists-denounce-caitlyn-jenner-after-announcing-run-for-california-governor\/\" title=\"LGBTQ Activists Denounce Caitlyn Jenner After Announcing Run For California Governor\">hard pass<\/a>\u2063 since 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Lucas\u200c expressed concern over \u200bthe\u200c press\u200b purge, stating, &#8220;It should be concerning to anyone when an administration attempts to select who can and can&#8217;t cover it.&#8221; He also criticized the lack of transparency regarding the\u200c number of\u200b journalists affected by the new rules and the administration&#8217;s failure to provide a\u2064 justification for targeting non-compliant \u2062media.<\/p>\n<p>While it remains unclear\u2064 how many media outlets have been impacted,\u2062 Simon Ateba of \u2062Today News \u2063Africa is \u2064another reporter who may lose his hard\u200c pass \u200cdue to his confrontations with White House Press\u200b Secretary Karine \u2063Jean-Pierre.
