Mary Miller introduced the amendment and called on the FAA\u2019s \u200dadministrator to \u201csubmit to \u2062Congress a report containing the flight records of \u2064the Secretary of Transportation for any flight on an aircraft owned by \u2064the Federal Aviation Administration\u201d within the last\u200d three years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecretary Buttigieg and President Biden\u2019s policies have \u2064created chaos within the FAA,\u201d Miller said on the House floor, according to the Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder \u2062the Biden administration, we saw the first full ground stoppage of \u2064all\u2062 flights since Sept. 11,\u201d she \u2064added. \u201cTaxpayers deserve to \u2064know where Secretary\u200d Pete was\u200d jetting off to \u200don a\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/john-kerry-reveals-hypocrisy-on-climate-policy\/\" title=\"John Kerry reveals hypocrisy on climate policy\">private jet<\/a> while our constituents were dealing with canceled and delayed flights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrats argued\u2063 that\u2063 requiring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/buttigieg-humiliated-re-surfaced-video-republican-pounces-biden-gaffe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Buttigieg<\/a> to disclose information about his travels would be a waste of time and resources, the Post reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no basis as to why this report should be needed,\u201d Democratic Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen said. \u201cThere \u2062are many pressing \u2064issues the FAA should\u200c dedicate its \u2064attention toward \u2026 and [Miller\u2019s] \u2064 amendment would detract from \u2062those efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The amendment failed by a vote of <a href=\"https:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/Votes\/2023346\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">219-216<\/a>, with nine Republicans siding with Democrats in\u200b opposing it.<\/p>\n<h3>Should Buttigieg be required \u200cto disclose his flight records?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes<\/li>\n<li>No<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those nine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/two-prominent-gop-congressman-good-news-impeaching-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Republicans<\/a> were Brian Fitzpatrick \u2063of Pennsylvania, Brandon Williams and\u2063 Marcus Molinaro of \u2063New York, David Joyce and Troy Balderson of Ohio, Garret Graves of \u200bLouisiana, Jack Bergman of Michigan, Jennifer Kiggans of Virginia, and Sam Graves of \u2063Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>It was later revealed that Balderson had \u201cinadvertently\u201d voted against the amendment and submitted\u200b paperwork\u2063 to change his vote.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">During a busy vote series late Wednesday night, Rep.
