What&#8217;s even more concerning is\u2063 that an MP 40 submachine\u2063 gun on the table \u2063is pointed directly at\u2062 his\u2062 unprotected \u200bpelvis.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to understand that the MP 40 is a German-designed firearm known for\u2062 its use by the Third \u200dReich during \u200bWorld War II. This particular weapon operates on an open bolt system, meaning the bolt is held\u200c back until the trigger is pulled.\u200d This outdated design \u2062poses \u200dsignificant risks, as a simple part failure can cause\u2063 the bolt to move \u200dforward, potentially chambering and\u2063 firing a round instantly.<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s unclear if the firearm in the photo is an \u2062automatic open-bolt MP 40, other items on the table, such as an apparent\u2064 Glock &#8220;switch&#8221; for converting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/california-democrat-and-top-gun-control-advocate-thought-plastic-bb-gun-packaging-held-semi-automatic-pistol\/\" title=\"California Democrat And Top Gun Control Advocate Thought Plastic BB Gun Packaging Held Semi-Automatic Pistol\">semi-automatic pistol<\/a> to\u200d fully \u2062automatic,\u2062 suggest that the situation is indeed dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the specifics, having a firearm pointed at one&#8217;s pelvis is a grave safety violation. Even if the man \u200cis affiliated with the ATF, his gear and \u2063role remain unclear.\u200b The ATF cannot escape\u2064 responsibility, as their agents should have been acting\u2063 as range safety \u2063officers or ensuring the presence of one to\u200d prevent deadly mistakes and safety oversights.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, it seems that not a single person \u2062noticed the \u2063blatant disregard for firearm safety captured in the photo.
