She wants us\u200d to shut up. Don\u2019t oppose the regime. And if you support Trump, we are coming \u2062after you.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m with Trump 100 percent. \u2062He\u2019s trying to warn people of the enemy within.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Gesture of\u2064 \u2018Good Faith\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>State\u200d Representative Josh Schriver (R-Oxford) stunned many at the \u2063crowded press conference when he challenged President Joe Biden to pardon former-President Donald Trump in order to dispel once \u200cand for all any accusations about election interference on the part \u200cof the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>In both oral remarks and \u200da written statement, the six-foot-five-inch, 30-year-old, legislator also said, \u201cLike a mafia thug,\u200c Dana Nessel is using 16 Michigan residents to \u2018send a message\u2019 to those who would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dozens-of-attorneys-general-and-gop-lawmakers-oppose-h-r-1\/\" title=\"Dozens of attorneys general and GOP lawmakers oppose H.R.1\">seek legal remedies<\/a> against systemic election corruption, inducing fear of being persecuted and prosecuted by a weaponized \u2018justice\u2019 system in the form of lawfare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Schriver told the audience, \u201cI am not intimidated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He warned the crowd, \u201cIf we don\u2019t do something now, we will be \u2064next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His call to action included people rallying to the side of \u2063the 16 electors to help them \u200bwith their legal fees by donating \u200cthrough crowd-funding and\u200c other means.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Schriver\u200b said that if Ms. Nessel does not cease\u2064 her \u200bprosecution, he expects huge numbers of people to peacefully\u200d protest \u201cuntil the rule of\u200b law is restored.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A Show of Defiance<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When asked why she \u2063came out to a hastily called press\u200b conference at 5 p.m.\u200d on a \u2064Wednesday afternoon, \u200ba Macomb County \u2064woman said, \u201cWe\u2019re here to send a message to Nessel that we are not afraid. The tyranny of trying to scare people to keep us from asking questions and expressing our opinions must \u200cbe stopped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf\u2064 they succeed in\u200b silencing us, we won\u2019t have a \u2062country anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diane Saber, a\u2063 precinct delegate from Macomb County said she suspects Ms. Nessel is engaging \u2064in a backhanded attack on \u200cthe way Americans\u2063 elect\u2062 their president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have an \u200cElectoral College. I know the leftists would like to go to a popular\u200b vote system. They blatantly disregard the Constitution,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Trump Supporters Targeted<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A \u200bCongressional District Nine committeewoman, Melissa Pehlis,\u2062 told\u200d The Epoch Times, \u201cThe communist regime here in Michigan is\u2063 out to lawfare our people into\u2062 silence. That\u200b means anybody that\u2064 supports Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her committee passed a resolution condemning Nessel\u2019s indictments\u2063 as a \u201cblatantly\u200b political prosecution\u201d and an effort to intimidate her party\u2019s political \u200copponents under the \u201ccolor of law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The resolution said the 16 \u2062electors \u201cdesired only to post the requisite paperwork to preserve President Trump\u2019s ability to meet legal deadlines in\u2064 case his court appeals [of the election results] should succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tyrann-honey-badger-mathieu-accuses-tom-brady-of-calling-him-something-i-wont-repeat-in-now-deleted-tweet\/\" title=\"Tyrann \u2018Honey Badger\u2019 Mathieu Accuses Tom Brady Of Calling Him \u2018Something I Won\u2019t Repeat\u2019 In Now Deleted Tweet\">similar situation arose<\/a> during the 1960 \u200cpresidential election between Democrat John F. Kennedy and Republican Richard M. Nixon in Hawaii\u2014a race in which the Democrats presented an alternate slate of electors despite Mr. Nixon being certified\u2064 as the winner of the state by 140 votes.<\/p>\n<p>There was no accusation or finding of\u200c wrongdoing in that occurrence.<\/p>\n<p>In that instance, \u200dthe\u200d judge said that the Democrat alternate slate preserved the right for Mr. Kennedy\u2019s electoral votes to eventually be\u2064 counted.<\/p>\n<p>After a court-ordered recount of the announced \u2064results which had initially declared \u2062Mr. Nixon the winner\u200d of the state\u2019s\u2063 popular vote and three electoral votes, it was\u200b found that Mr. Kennedy, not Mr. Nixon, had carried the state by 115 votes.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>An Incredulous Accusation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The resolution ridiculed what it described as the\u2062 \u201cpreposterous argument\u201d that the Michigan Republican electors were actually intending to bamboozle Congress and the National \u200dArchives\u200c into believing that Mr. Trump had won the \u2064state, instead \u2064of\u200c just covering their legal bases in the\u200b event of further legal actions by Congress or the courts that might reverse the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The Ninth District Committee questioned Ms. Nessel\u2019s judgment in bringing the prosecution herself against the electors when the U.S. Attorney had not acted on her referral of the case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge Republicans across \u200bMichigan to unite, put aside petty differences, and organize vigorously against this horrific miscarriage of\u200d justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The committee\u2019s resolution called Ms. Nessel a \u201crogue attorney general,\u201d whom\u2063 herself\u200d deserves to be investigated for destroying the rights of the citizenry.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released to the press on July 18, Ms. Nessel stated: \u201cThe false electors\u2019 actions undermined the public\u2019s faith in<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democrat AG Dana Nessel&#8217;s indictment of 16 GOP electors has achieved the unexpected: uniting Michigan Republicans.
