If there wasn\u2019t enough evidence for the GOP-controlled House to open impeachment proceedings against Biden before, there certainly is now. Recall that former President \u200cDonald Trump was impeached by Democrats just for asking the Ukrainian President about the Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-president-trump-gives-pardons-to-73-individuals-and-commutes-another-70-sentences-steve-bannon-is-included\/\" title=\"BREAKING: President Trump Gives Pardons to 73 Individuals and Commutes Another 70 Sentences \u2013 Steve Bannon Is Included\">bribery scheme<\/a> on a phone call in 2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Uncovering the Truth<\/h2>\n<p>Now we know there was good\u2063 reason for Trump to \u200dbe asking about it. We also know there\u2019s\u200c far more evidence \u2064Biden engaged in impeachable (and possibly criminal) offenses than there ever was against Trump. When Democrats first impeached Trump\u200b at the end of 2019, they claimed he had solicited foreign interference in the 2020 election by asking Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky about the Biden bribery scheme. His \u200dquestions now \u200cappear to be well-founded.\u200c They\u2019re\u2064 questions the \u200bFBI and Justice Department should have\u2064 been asking back in 2017 when the informant first \u2063told the FBI what he knew.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2064 we\u2019ve now learned \u200dfrom the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/fd_1023_obtained_by_senator_grassley_-_biden.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four-page document<\/a> \u2014 \u2062an unclassified FD-1023 form, \u2063which is used by the FBI to record credible reports and information from \u200ctrusted confidential sources \u2014 is\u2063 that Burisma allegedly paid $10 million in bribes to the Biden family\u200b so that Joe Biden, who at the time was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-defector-emails-pipeline-to-obama-admin-seen-as-currency\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Defector Emails: 'Pipeline' to Obama Admin Seen as 'Currency'\">vice president<\/a>,\u2063 would make the company\u2019s legal problems in Ukraine disappear. Biden later bragged about how he\u200d pressured Ukrainian authorities\u200c to fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma, by threatening to withhold aid to the country. At the time, Biden claimed Shokin was \u201ccorrupt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But if what the FBI informant\u200b says is even partially true, \u200bit\u2019s Biden who is corrupt \u2014 and on a \u200bgrand scale. According to the document, \u2063a top Burisma executive said the only reason the firm \u2064hired Hunter \u200cBiden (for a mind-boggling\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearinvestigations.com\/articles\/2019\/11\/19\/hunter_bidens_burisma_post_had_a_troubling_conflict_watchdog_says_121260.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$83,000 a month<\/a>) was \u201cto protect\u200c us, \u200bthrough his dad, from all\u200c kinds \u2063of problems,\u201d and that even though Hunter\u2063 \u201cwas \u2063stupid,\u201d they needed him \u201cso everything will be okay.\u201d What\u2019s more, the firm was apparently told by both Hunter <em>and<\/em> Joe Biden that it needed to \u2064hire Hunter for this \u201cprotection.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>A Shocking Revelation<\/h3>\n<p>Keep in mind this isn\u2019t some third-hand reporting, or some obviously fake \u2063dossier cooked up by the RNC and passed off to credulous\u2063 journalists to smear Biden. \u200cThis is what a trusted FBI informant \u200dsays he was told directly\u200d by Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder and \u2064CEO of Burisma.<\/p>\n<p>After Trump won the \u200d2016 election, the FBI informant asked Zlochevsky on a phone call if he was happy about\u2062 the\u2063 outcome. He was not. Asked\u200c if he was worried about the \u2064bribes he\u2019d paid to the Bidens, Zlochevsky said he was \u201cpushed to pay\u201d them, and that he had many text messages and recordings, including two with Joe Biden himself,\u2062 that show he was coerced into making the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-raids-detroit-city-hall-and-homes-of-council-members-in-corruption-probe\/\" title=\"FBI Raids Detroit City Hall And Homes Of Council Members In Corruption Probe\">bribery payments<\/a>. And anyway, Zlochevsky\u2063 added, because then-VP Biden had personally gotten Shokin fired, \u201cnobody would find out about his financial dealings with the Bidens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All of this and more is detailed in the FD-1023 form,\u200c which the FBI hid from Congress and investigators for years, and which\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/07\/exclusive-bill-barr-confirms-rep-jamie-raskin-lied-about-biden-family-corruption-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democrats lied about<\/a> as recently as June, falsely\u200c claiming that Trump\u2019s own Justice Department under Attorney General William Barr had \u200cclosed down the investigation into the Biden bribery scheme. \u2062(Barr refuted that claim directly, telling The Federalist the\u2064 FBI informant\u2019s allegation \u201cwas sent to Delaware for further investigation.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>But instead of following up on this credible informant\u2019s claims and seeing where \u200dthe investigation led, the FBI and DOJ <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/31\/breadcrumbs-from-a-buried-fbi-source-may-lead-to-a-bigger-biden-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">buried the document<\/a> and later defied a congressional subpoena demanding its release. They also barred investigators from\u200c questioning Biden family members, tipped off the Biden family about \u200dthe investigation, \u200band then offered Hunter Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/20\/hunter-bidens-plea-deal-is-a-coverup-disguised-as-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a ridiculous plea deal<\/a> \u200b for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/revelations-about-bidens-10-million-ukraine-bribery-scheme-warrant-impeachment\/\" title=\"Impeachment warranted due to Biden's M Ukraine bribery scheme.\">minor\u200b tax offenses designed<\/a> to shield him from\u200d future prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>All that \u200dobstruction might not be enough to stop the truth from getting \u2064out. We\u2019re probably \u200bgoing\u200d to learn much \u200dmore in the days\u2064 and \u200cweeks \u200cto come about the alleged Biden bribery scheme in Ukraine. \u2062As Margot\u2063 Cleveland <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/20\/explosive-fd-1023-exposes-more-biden-bribery-dirt-and-teases-damning-evidence-to-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote in these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/to-secure-the-border-texas-gov-greg-abbott-should-shut-it-down-2\/\" title=\"To Secure The Border, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Should Shut It Down\">pages yesterday<\/a><\/a>, IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler testified before lawmakers Wednesday that \u2064they hadn\u2019t yet seen the FD-1023 document but that it \u201ccould further corroborate other information that\u200c we might\u2062 be \u200bhaving an issue corroborating because it could be \u2064regarding a foreign official. So if we have information \u2062regarding that\u2062 in a \u200ddocument or a \u200bwitness, we can\u2062 further corroborate later evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis testimony suggests that\u2064 the \u200bIRS\u2019s investigation likely uncovered evidence the FD-1023 corroborated,\u201d writes Cleveland. \u201cWith that form now public, both Ziegler and \u2062Shapley can study it and assess what documentary material,\u200c such as wire transfer\u200d reports, they uncovered that is now \u200ccorroborated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The corporate media\u200c will no doubt\u200b treat this as a non-story, but that doesn\u2019t mean the rest of America should ignore it. As my colleague Sean Davis <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/seanmdav\/status\/1682089611105804294?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noted yesterday on Twitter<\/a>, \u201cThis is the biggest corruption scandal in American history, and it\u2019s not\u200c even close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If this is the\u200b biggest corruption scandal in American history (and it looks like it is), then it deserves a full \u2062and exhaustive investigation.
