They claimed\u200b that this was part of a larger\u200b pattern of\u2062 censorship by proxy. D. \u2064John Sauer, \u2062Louisiana\u200c Special Assistant \u200dAttorney General involved in lawsuits against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/leftists-aim-to-expedite-the-public-school-to-democrat-voter-pipeline-with-votes-for-16-year-olds\/\" title=\"Leftists Aim To Expedite The Public-School-To-Democrat-Voter Pipeline With Votes For 16-Year-Olds\">federal government offices<\/a> for \u2064alleged censorship-by-proxy practices, also testified. Maya Wiley, president of The Leadership Conference on\u2063 Civil and Human\u200c Rights, also provided \u200btestimony at the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Rep.\u2062 Thomas Massie\u200d (R-Ky.) expressed concerns about certain political candidates\u2062 being prevented from \u2063communicating with the public as\u200d a result of these practices. He \u200dstated, &#8220;This administration, and \u200dthose who \u200cwere\u200c there even before this administration, are hostile\u200c to free speech. They have implemented methods \u2062that they believe circumvent the law, but these methods are unconstitutional. By relying \u200don private \u200dcompanies \u2062to censor speech, they are violating the Constitution. I am worried that in \u200cthis election\u2064 cycle, everyone will struggle \u200cto get their message across.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rep.\u2064 Mike Johnson (R-La.) echoed these concerns, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-republicans-democrats-sound-off-after-contentious-government-weaponization-hearing-with-rfk-jr\/\" title=\"House Republicans and Democrats clash after heated government weaponization hearing featuring RFK Jr.\">highlighting recent\u2063 court cases challenging<\/a> \u2062the federal \u200bgovernment&#8217;s alleged censorship-by-proxy practices. He referred to a\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/boston-city-councilor-goes-on-anti-semitic-rant-after-bds-loses-in-court\/\" title=\"Boston City Councilor Goes On Anti-Semitic Rant After BDS Loses in Court\">federal court&#8217;<\/a>s \u200bpreliminary \u200dinjunction against President Joe \u2062Biden&#8217;s White \u2062House and other offices in his administration, which was issued on \u2062July 4 as a result of their alleged involvement in \u200bencouraging \u200bsocial media companies to remove specific content.<\/p>\n<h2>Hearing Like &#8216;SNL Skit&#8217; But Not Funny: House \u2062Democrat<\/h2>\n<p>Prior to the Thursday hearing, Democratic\u200c lawmakers and\u2062 their political allies \u200ccalled for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio),\u2063 the chair of the\u200c Republican-controlled House government\u200b weaponization subcommittee, to disinvite Mr.\u200d Kennedy due to controversial remarks he made the previous week about the impact of COVID-19\u2063 on certain ethnic groups.<\/p>\n<p>A video \u200dclip captured at \u200ba July 11 campaign event showed Mr.\u2063 Kennedy suggesting that &#8220;COVID-19 attacks \u200bcertain races disproportionately.&#8221; He went \u2063on to explain the differences in the structure of ACE2 receptors among\u2062 different ethnic groups, which \u200dbind with SARS-CoV-2 and lead to COVID-19 infections.\u2064 Mr. Kennedy stated, &#8220;COVID-19 is targeted to attack\u200b Caucasians and black people.
