However, \u2062she did not provide\u2062 specific details about their conversation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s a mistake\u2064 to not do the debates, but \u200cthat&#8217;s going \u2064to be up to him and his campaign,&#8221; McDaniel told the network.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think getting in front of the American people, with the Fox audience that you&#8217;re going to bring, \u2062people are clamoring for solutions,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And this is\u200b an opportunity \u200dfor us to contrast our ideas versus the \u200bDemocrats. It&#8217;s not just about the primary. It&#8217;s also about the general election because we are going to need independent \u200dvoters and others to win the White House.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McDaniel emphasized that the event presents a valuable opportunity for Republican\u2063 candidates to\u200b showcase their political views\u200c and engage with each other in front of a large audience. So leaving that opportunity aside and not getting on the debate stage is\u200b just\u2063 more of an opportunity for Joe \u2063Biden to \u200bcontinue to get \u200chis message out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have an \u2062opportunity to take up all the oxygen\u200c in the room and get on that debate stage and talk about the\u200b fact that \u200ceighth and fourth\u200b graders right now\u2014two-thirds \u200cof them\u2014aren&#8217;t reading or math \u200cproficient,&#8221; \u2062she continued.
