Kennedy Jr.&#8217;s speech at a meeting addressing censorship and targeting concerns. The session, which resembled an episode of &#8220;The\u2064 Twilight \u2063Zone,&#8221; was intended to\u2064 discuss the weaponization of the federal government.<\/p>\n<p>Despite running for president against Joe Biden, Kennedy was invited by Republicans to testify at the House Judiciary Subcommittee. During the vote, several Democrats opposed the \u2063GOP&#8217;s rejection of Schultz&#8217;s\u200d motion, uttering phrases like &#8220;no to \u200chate speech.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, Kennedy criticized \u2063the Democrats&#8217; attempts\u200d to censor his \u2064speech and \u2063his run for\u200d the White House. \u200bHe also highlighted the censorship \u2062he faced on YouTube, where his speech announcing his candidacy was cut off after five minutes, even though it did not discuss vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy waved a\u200c letter signed by 102 fellow Democrats, calling it an attempt\u200d to &#8220;censor a censorship hearing.&#8221; He emphasized that censorship\u200c goes \u2064against \u200cthe principles of democracy\u2062 and cited historical figures such as his father, his uncle, FDR, Harry \u2062Truman, and Thomas Jefferson who would find it\u200c appalling.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy argued that a new word, &#8220;malinformation,&#8221; was invented to censor people like him because there was no misinformation on his platform.
