Effective Monday, Duane Gill will take over as the new head,\u200b replacing Director Dr. Judy Hayman.<\/p>\n<p>Under \u2063Dr. Hayman&#8217;s leadership, concerns about patient safety were self-reported to the \u200cInspector General in 2021. These concerns were later substantiated by the OIG. \u2064Unfortunately, \u2062one patient at the Miles City \u2064Center lost their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-president-trump-gives-pardons-to-73-individuals-and-commutes-another-70-sentences-steve-bannon-is-included\/\" title=\"BREAKING: President Trump Gives Pardons to 73 Individuals and Commutes Another 70 Sentences \u2013 Steve Bannon Is Included\">life due<\/a> to mistreatment, leading\u200d to a pause in all \u200dcare \u2064at the center from April\u2064 to\u200b September 2022. As a result, the entire staff\u200b involved was terminated.<\/p>\n<p>The Fort Harrison \u200dCenter has also faced\u200b allegations of abuse, waste, and mismanagement, as reported by the OIG. Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) received complaints\u2064 about \u200cthe center and brought them to the\u200c attention of\u2064 VA Office\u200d of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs Secretary Denis R. McDonough. Last week, a report issued by the secretary highlighted &#8220;significant issues \u200dwith the hiring practices and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-please-pardon-jon-woods-a-victim-of-process-crimes-like-michael-flynn\/\" title=\"President Trump, Please Pardon Jon Woods, a Victim of Process Crimes Like Michael Flynn\">medical malpractice<\/a> at\u2062 Fort Harrison,&#8221; \u200caccording to the congressman.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I am\u2062 pleased by the VA&#8217;s decision to require a comprehensive review of the\u200b Montana VA Health \u2064Care System \u200cand the change in leadership,&#8221; Rosendale stated. &#8220;I\u200c am hopeful this will result in better practices that\u200c will properly\u200b serve our\u2063 veterans. The \u2063core function of the VA is to care \u200dfor our nation&#8217;s \u200bheroes,\u200d and I appreciate Secretary McDonough and Under Secretary Elnahal for working with \u2063me to address this critical issue for \u200cour veterans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Montana&#8217;s VA Health\u200b Care System consists of \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/montanas-va-sees-shake-up-in-leadership-following-investigation\/\" title=\"Montana's VA experiences leadership changes after investigation.\">multiple medical centers located<\/a>\u200c in\u2063 Fort Harrison (Helena), Billings, \u200dBrowning, Cut Bank, Missoula, Miles City,\u2064 Bozeman,\u200c Great \u2063Falls, Glasgow, Glendive, Havre, Butte (two centers), \u2062Hamilton, Lewistown, Plentywood,\u2064 and \u2063Kalispell.
