Interestingly, the majority of Independents expressed willingness to\u200d switch their vote, while Democrats and \u200dRepublicans were more resistant to the idea. Democrats showed\u200c slightly more openness, with 61 percent considering a third-party candidate and 35 percent not considering \u200cit, \u200ccompared \u2062to Republicans&#8217; 57 \u200bpercent and 38 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Quinnipiac University\u2064 Polling Analyst Tim Malloy commented on the findings, saying, &#8220;With neither President Biden nor former President\u200d Trump\u2063 knocking\u2064 it \u200cout of \u2063the park on\u200d favorability, almost half of the \u200dcountry would consider\u200c another option.
