Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who cited\u200d Kennedy&#8217;s alleged anti-Semitic and anti-Asian comments as the reason for the motion.<\/p>\n<p>Wasserman Schultz referred to a House rule against defamatory testimony, which would allow the committee to determine whether to allow such testimony during the \u200bopen hearing. Kennedy&#8217;s remarks about COVID-19 being &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whatever-you-do-dont-call-them-biolabs\/\" title=\"Whatever You Do, Don\u2019t Call Them Biolabs!\">ethnically targeted<\/a>&#8221; to spare certain\u2064 races, particularly Ashkenazi Jews and\u200c Chinese people, were the focus of the controversy.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the motion, a vote was held and the GOP majority&#8217;s motion to \u2063table the censorship attempt \u200csucceeded, allowing the hearing to continue as planned. Kennedy, \u2064who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-try-and-fail-to-censor-rfk-jr-at-censorship-hearing\/\" title=\"Dems' Failed Attempt to Censor RFK Jr. at Hearing\">gained significant \u200csupport<\/a> \u2062in\u200c the 2024 \u2063Democratic Party primary polling, delivered\u200d an opening statement denying any racist or anti-Semitic intent in his words.<\/p>\n<p>The hearing, chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH),\u2064 aimed to examine the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/6-7-million-covid-vaccines-given-in-u-s-with-70-of-available-doses-unused\/\" title=\"6.7 million COVID Vaccines Given in U.S. With 70% of Available Doses Unused\">federal government&#8217;<\/a>s role in censoring Americans, \u2063the Missouri v. The other witnesses at the hearing were Breitbart News Politics Editor Emma-Jo Morris and D.
