CCI also showed \u200dthat \u2064fears of a recession\u2064 in \u200dthe \u2063next 12 \u2062months\u2062 dropped precipitously in June for\u2064 the first \u200dtime since \u200cAugust of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>However, \u200d&#8221;Bidenomics,&#8221; White House officials&#8217;\u200d new name for the president&#8217;s\u2063 economic policies,\u2064 is not\u2063 yielding\u2062 a boost in Biden&#8217;s \u2063own polling, economic\u2064 or otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>As \u2063of Wednesday, \u2062just\u200d 38.4% \u200cof respondents approve\u2064 of\u2063 Biden&#8217;s \u200deconomic\u2062 stewardship, compared to 58% who\u200b disapprove, according to \u200dRealClearPolitics&#8217;\u2063 polling aggregate. The president\u2063 entered \u200dthe\u200c White \u2062House \u200dwith\u200c roughly half \u200dof the country approving of\u200c his economic\u2062 policies,\u2064 yet that figure has continued\u2064 to fall as prices \u2062skyrocketed \u200dacross \u200bhis \u2062first \u200dtwo\u200b and a \u200bhalf years in office.<\/p>\n<p>Still, Biden officials, both\u200d those\u200d working \u2063at \u20641600 Pennsylvania \u2063Ave. and the president&#8217;s 2024 reelection effort,\u2062 aren&#8217;t \u200csweating his negative\u200d polls.<\/p>\n<p>There \u200dis a\u200c sense \u200cinside \u2064the \u200dWhite \u200dHouse that some of the \u200bnegative sentiment \u200bis being driven by Republican respondents \u2063who\u2063 will always\u2063 say the\u2064 economy is suffering\u2063 unless there&#8217;s \u200da Republican \u2063in \u2063the \u200cWhite\u200d House.\u200b One senior White\u200d House official\u200b suggested to\u200b the Washington Examiner \u200bthat\u200c the president&#8217;s \u2062team is focused on \u2063its \u200b&#8221;long-term&#8221;\u200c vision \u2062for the \u200ccountry.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Americans are\u2063 feeling the\u2062 impact \u200bof\u2062 Bidenomics \u2062because\u200d investing \u2063in \u200cAmerica is\u200c investing in an \u2063economy built \u2064from \u2063the bottom up and middle \u200cout. President Biden has a \u2063real record of delivering on the issues Americans care about: \u2064beating Big Pharma \u2064to lower \u200ccosts, \u2064securing bipartisan funding\u200b to repair our roads \u200band\u200d bridges, \u200dand\u2062 has\u200c brought manufacturing jobs back to the United States. And we&#8217;re just\u2063 getting \u2062started,&#8221; \u2063Kevin Munoz,\u200b a spokesperson for the Biden reelection campaign, \u200cadded.\u2062 &#8220;MAGA Republicans would rather\u200c talk \u200babout\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/team-biden-hopeful-economic-outlook-brightening-the-polls-dont-tell-the-full-story\/\" title=\"Biden's team optimistic about improving economy: Polls don't reveal everything.\">divisive culture war issues<\/a> \u2062than the fact\u200d that \u200dthey&#8217;ve \u200cmade their \u200cbed with special interests and empty\u200c promises. \u2064That&#8217;s\u2063 a record\u200b Americans\u200b have rejected\u200d over and\u2062 over and will again\u2062 in \u20632024.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For months, top \u200cWhite House officials \u200dhave stressed that \u2062Biden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-56-percent-of-voters-believe-biden-is-not-concerned-about-inflation\/\" title=\"Poll: 56 Percent of Voters Believe Biden Is Not Concerned About Inflation\u00a0\u00a0\">poor economic polling<\/a> is \u2063only temporary. Those figures will \u200drise, \u2063they \u2062say, \u200bas \u200cmore of \u2062the president&#8217;s landmark\u2064 spending packages,\u2063 including the bipartisan infrastructure law,\u200b CHIPS and Science Act, and Inflation \u200bReduction\u200d Act,\u2063 are implemented, \u2062extending \u200bsavings and lowering costs \u200bfor families in \u200dthe process.<\/p>\n<p>White House press\u2063 secretary\u2062 Karine Jean-Pierre touched on those themes during\u200b Wednesday&#8217;s \u2064White \u200dHouse \u200dpress \u200cbriefing.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The\u2063 polls don&#8217;t tell the \u200cfull\u2063 story, and we don&#8217;t understand that.\u2064 The data shows\u2064 the\u2064 combination\u200b of unemployment \u200dand inflation \u200cis near\u2064 historic lows. That&#8217;s what\u2062 we have seen. Consumer\u200d confidence is\u200b increasing,\u200b and\u2063 also \u2063wages are \u200drising. That&#8217;s\u2062 what \u200bcertainly\u2063 the\u200b data is showing,&#8221; she told reporters when asked about \u200bBiden&#8217;s polls.\u2062 &#8220;The polls don&#8217;t tell\u200b the\u200b entire\u200c story, and so we&#8217;re\u2062 gonna \u2062continue to have\u200b the conversation. \u200bWe&#8217;re \u2064going \u2063to continue to have\u200b a conversation \u200cwith \u2062the American people.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>National \u200cEconomic Council Director Lael Brainard similarly\u2064 voiced \u200coptimism in a \u2062speech\u2064 before \u2063the Economic Club of \u200cNew\u200c York\u200c last week.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;From \u2064the data\u2064 alone, \u200bit would be \u2063hard\u2062 to \u2062find\u2062 clues that \u200dthe U.S. economy \u2063was in the midst of a\u2062 protracted global pandemic \u200bjust two years ago\u2062 and a war-driven \u200dshock to energy\u200d and \u2062food prices \u2063just \u2063one year \u2064ago,&#8221;\u200b she\u2062 stated. &#8220;In the weeks and\u200b months ahead, we will\u200d continue\u200b working \u2064diligently\u200c to support\u2062 growth that benefits the middle\u200b class through smart public \u200binvestments,\u2063 educating and empowering workers, and\u2063 lowering \u200dthe \u2062cost \u200cof \u2063living.\u200b This approach \u200dwill allow \u2063us to achieve growth that\u200b is more resilient and \u2063broadly shared, \u200bwhere\u200c economic \u2064gains \u200bflow to hard-working Americans.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There \u200bis anecdotal evidence to suggest that Biden&#8217;s poor\u2064 economic polling won&#8217;t affect his performance\u2064 in the \u200c2024 election.\u2063 Heading into the 2022 midterm \u200belections, \u200bvirtually \u200cthe \u200dsame number of people \u200dviewed \u200dthe president&#8217;s economic stewardship \u200cunfavorably \u200bas \u200dtoday, yet \u200bDemocrats managed \u200dto \u2062hold on\u200b to their \u2064Senate \u2063majority\u2063 and minimize their losses in the House.<\/p>\n<p>And there\u200c are positive data \u2062points the \u2064president can hang his \u2063hat on\u2062 heading \u200cinto the general\u2062 cycle.
