Sheldon \u2064Whitehouse (D-R.I.), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-legislative-push-seeks-to-stop-biden-admin-from-unraveling-iran-sanctions\/\" title=\"GOP Legislative Push Seeks to Stop Biden Admin from Unraveling Iran Sanctions\">bill aims<\/a>\u200d to\u2063 establish \u200ba code of \u200bconduct for \u200cSupreme Court\u2064 justices and allow the\u200d public to file complaints against them for violating the code \u200bor engaging in conduct that \u2064undermines the\u2062 Court&#8217;s\u200d integrity.<\/p>\n<p>  \u200d<\/p>\n<p>Republicans argue that this complaint mechanism is a deliberate attempt\u2064 to\u200c hinder the\u200d Court&#8217;s functioning.\u2064 They are\u200b determined to \u2062protect the\u2062 constitutional \u2064separation \u2063of\u200b powers and prevent the Supreme Court\u2063 from\u200c being\u200d destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2064  \u200d<\/p>\n<p>Democrats, on the\u2063 other hand, have been demanding a \u2062code\u2063 of \u200dethics \u2063for\u200d the Court due \u200bto alleged \u200cethical lapses by \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ruth-bader-ginsburgs-mysterious-1-million-prize\/\" title=\"Ruth Bader Ginsburg's Enigmatic M Prize\">conservative \u2063justices<\/a>, such as \u2063Justice \u200dClarence Thomas \u2064and Justice Samuel Alito. \u200cThey are particularly outraged by the revelations \u2062of wealthy \u200cRepublican\u200c donor Harlan \u200bCrow&#8217;s gifts \u2063to Justice Thomas \u200cand Justice\u2063 Alito&#8217;s\u200c failure to disclose a\u200c paid trip.<\/p>\n<p>\u2063  <\/p>\n<p>While Democrats have been less vocal\u2062 about similar allegations \u200bagainst liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the\u200c focus remains on the need for transparency\u200d and accountability within the highest court \u200din the \u200cland.<\/p>\n<p>\u200d  \u200c<\/p>\n<h3>Sen.
