Despite Judge Wetherell\u2019s\u2062 restraining order \u2064against\u200c the policy, \u200dDHS \u200cofficials\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/biden-admin-released-2700-illegal-immigrants-into-us-despite-court-order-blocking-parole-program_5273299.html\">proceeded \u200bto release\u2064 more than\u200c 2,500 of \u2064these \u2063illegal \u2064immigrants<\/a> into the United \u2062States, justifying the decision by\u200b saying that these people had already\u2063 been processed \u200cinto the \u200dPWC\u2062 system\u200d before\u2062 Judge \u2062Wetherell\u2063 issued his\u200b TRO.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b  \u200b<\/p>\n<p>Judge \u200bWetherell\u200d responded \u200cto this\u2063 release\u2062 of \u200dillegal \u200dimmigrants with\u200b an order\u2063 for ICE \u200cto\u200b provide \u2062statistics on how\u200c many \u2064people ultimately received their \u2064NTAs\u200c to \u2063begin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/psaki-pressed-on-biden-putting-migrants-in-hotels-while-national-guard-slept-in-d-c-parking-garages\/\" title=\"Psaki Pressed On Biden Putting Migrants In Hotels While National Guard Slept In D.C. Parking Garages\">removal proceedings<\/a>. \u200dAccording to \u2064court \u200crecords \u2062(<a \u2064href=\"https:\/\/www.ntd.com\/assets\/uploads\/2023\/07\/id931729-53.pdf\">pdf<\/a>) \u2062filed \u2064in \u2064response,\u2063 ICE revealed that \u200da group\u2063 of\u200b 2,572 illegal immigrants was released after the\u200b TRO, \u2063and that 1,065 (about 41.4 percent)\u200d of them\u2063 never \u2062actually \u200cchecked \u2064in within 60\u200b days \u2062to \u200creceive their \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/santa-clara-university-encourages-students-to-snitch-on-party-going-peers\/\" title=\"Santa Clara University Encourages Students To Snitch On Party-Going Peers\">court summons<\/a>\u200d and initiate their \u2064removal proceedings.<\/p>\n<p> \u200c\u2062 <\/p>\n<p>Of the 1,507 \u2063illegal \u200cimmigrants\u200c who\u2064 did\u200b check in\u200c with \u2062ICE,\u2063 the agency said \u2064it only \u200bissued NTAs for \u2064464 individuals (about \u206418 \u2062percent). In \u2064total,\u200b 2,108\u200c (about\u2062 82 \u2064percent) of these\u200d immigration parolees are either\u2062 awaiting\u200b their \u200cNTAs\u200b after \u206260 \u200cdays\u2064 or their\u200c whereabouts\u200b are unknown.<\/p>\n<p>  \u2063<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese \u2064statistics\u200c are \u2064troubling \u200dto say the least,\u201d \u2064Judge Wetherell\u200b wrote \u200con\u200b Tuesday (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntd.com\/assets\/uploads\/2023\/07\/id931733-Florida-v-Mayorkas-Periodic-Review-Order.pdf\">pdf<\/a>), in\u2064 response to\u2064 ICE\u2019s \u200dcourt \u2063filings.<\/p>\n<p> \u200b <\/p>\n<h2>DHS Lacks Plan\u2063 To \u2063Track Down Missing\u200d Illegal\u200b Immigrants: Judge<\/h2>\n<p>Judge\u200d Wetherell said \u2063DHS lacks any apparent plan\u200b to track\u200b down the \u200bapproximately 41 percent of \u2062PWC parolees\u200c who failed to\u200b check in \u2062with\u2063 ICE \u2062after\u200c being\u200c released\u2062 subsequent to\u2062 his\u200d TRO.<\/p>\n<p> \u2064\u2063 <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Court\u2062 is\u200b skeptical that DHS\u2062 is serious\u2062 about\u2064 tracking\u2064 down\u2062 the aliens \u2063who did not\u2063 check in as directed or that\u200d it \u200cwill\u2063 take any \u200baction\u2063 against\u200c them\u200c if\u200d it\u200c ever \u2063finds them,\u201d Judge Wetherell wrote.<\/p>\n<p> \u2064\u2064 <\/p>\n<p>The \u2064Judge\u200d noted \u2064that ICE\u2064 had similarly failed to\u2062 provide \u200dany\u2064 commitments to \u200btrack\u200d down \u200bPWC parolees who\u200b did not report\u2063 back\u2063 to begin\u200c their removal\u2062 proceedings. \u200dIn \u200daddition to \u2063providing \u200bits tracking\u2062 statistics for \u2064the\u200b 2,572 illegal\u2063 immigrants DHS \u200creleased, an\u2064 ICE \u2064official\u200b said the \u200bagency \u200b\u201cmay take an\u2062 enforcement action \u2062against\u2062 those \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/41-percent-of-illegal-immigrant-group-biden-admin-released-into-us-never-showed-up-for-court-dates\/\" title=\"41% of illegal immigrants released by the Biden administration did not attend their court hearings.\">noncitizens\u201d including \u200dissuing\u2062 arrest\u2064 warrants<\/a> \u200bfor \u200cthose individuals,\u200c placing\u200c them\u200b in \u2064detention,\u200d and initiating \u2063their removal\u200b proceedings.<\/p>\n<p> \u2064 \u2063<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven\u2064 that \u200dthe\u200c initiation of removal\u200c proceedings is \u200cthe only\u2063 way\u200d to\u2063 ensure that these\u2064 individuals\u200d are \u200dheld accountable\u200c for their immigration\u2064 violations, \u2062the\u2064 Court\u2062 expects\u200b that ICE\u200d will\u2063 take \u2062all\u2064 necessary steps to <a
