Americans are just not giving\u2063 him a lot of \u2062credit when it \u200bcomes to the economy,&#8221;\u200c said\u2064 Patrick Murray, director\u2062 of the independent \u200dMonmouth University\u2064 Polling Institute.<\/p>\n<p> \u200b \u2062<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Furthermore, the \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/blue-state-residents-oppose-woke-education\/\" title=\"Blue State Residents Oppose Woke Education\">poll reveals<\/a> that only a\u2063 quarter of Americans believe\u2064 the country \u200cis heading\u200d in \u2062the \u2062right\u200c direction, while 68 percent think \u200bit is \u200don the wrong track.<\/p>\n<h3>Disapproval \u200bAcross Multiple Areas<\/h3>\n<p>  \u2063<\/p>\n<p>The survey, \u200cconducted from \u2064July 12 to \u206217, asked participants about their views on President \u200cBiden&#8217;s\u200d handling of jobs and unemployment,\u200d transportation \u2062and energy\u200b infrastructure,\u200d and\u2064 inflation.<\/p>\n<p> \u2062 <\/p>\n<p>Across all \u200ccategories, the majority of respondents expressed disapproval. \u2063Only 34 \u200dpercent \u2063approved of the president&#8217;s handling of inflation, while 62\u200d percent\u200c disapproved. Similarly, \u200d43 percent\u2062 approved\u2062 of his handling\u200c of\u2062 transportation \u2062and energy infrastructure, while 51 percent\u200c disapproved. The\u2064 topic of \u200djobs\u200b and unemployment received a narrow split,\u2063 with\u2064 47 percent \u2064approving and 48\u200c percent disapproving.<\/p>\n<p>Monmouth University also assessed approval ratings for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/california-state-2024-race-shapes-up-as-candidates-vie-to-replace-katie-porter\/\" title=\"California's 2024 race intensifies as contenders compete for Katie Porter's seat.\">vice \u200bpresident<\/a>, Congress\u200d as \u200ca whole, and\u2064 congressional leaders, with Americans largely \u2064disapproving \u200dof their\u2062 performance to\u200c varying\u200d degrees.<\/p>\n<p>\u2064  <\/p>\n<h3>A\u2063 Consistent \u200cTrend<\/h3>\n<p>This poll from Monmouth University aligns with\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/americans-not-sold-on-bidenomics-poll\/\" title=\"Poll: Americans skeptical of 'Bidenomics'\">similar\u200c surveys conducted earlier<\/a> \u2064this \u2062year, indicating a consistent trend of public sentiment. An \u200bAssociated \u2062Press poll conducted last month found \u2062that only\u2062 30 percent of\u2064 Americans believed \u2062the \u200deconomy was in good shape, \u200da figure that \u2062has not \u2064exceeded \u2063one-third \u200bsince \u200d2021.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, \u200ba Gallup poll in May \u2064revealed \u2063declining confidence \u200cin all \u2062economic\u200b leaders, with \u200cconfidence\u200d in President Biden&#8217;s ability to handle the economy \u200breaching \u200ca two-decade \u200blow.
