They alleged misconduct in \u2063the federal probe of Hunter \u200dBiden&#8217;s tax matters.\u200b Now, \u200bthey were \u2064ready to bring their concerns \u2063to\u2064 the \u2062public&#8217;s attention.<\/p>\n<div \u200cclass=\"video_fit_container\">\n \u2062   \u200b<iframe \u2063width=\"671\" height=\"377\" class=\"video_frame\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0rgx5yTtShg?wmode=transparent&#038;wmode=opaque\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n\u200c  \u2063<\/div>\n<p> \u200d <\/p>\n<h3>Charges\u200c Recommended Against Hunter Biden<\/h3>\n<p>During the\u2062 hearing,\u2064 Mr. Ziegler revealed that lawyers \u200bfrom \u200bthe Department of\u200b Justice\u2062 (DOJ)\u2063 Tax Division \u2062had recommended felony and \u200bmisdemeanor charges against Hunter \u200dBiden\u200d for the 2017, \u200c2018, and\u2064 2019 \u2062tax \u200cyears.\u2064 However, \u2064the \u200bwhistleblower expressed concern that only\u200b a\u2064 misdemeanor charge\u2064 was \u2062pursued, despite the DOJ&#8217;s \u2064own policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u2064  <\/p>\n<p>In his prepared opening\u2062 statement, Mr. \u200cZiegler stated, \u2064&#8221;We need to treat each taxpayer the \u2063same\u2063 under the\u2064 law.&#8221;\u200c He emphasized the \u200bimportance \u2062of\u2063 equal treatment and \u200curged lawmakers \u200cto address the \u200cdiscrepancies \u2062in the handling of Hunter \u200dBiden&#8217;s case.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Shapley had \u200cpreviously \u2062informed\u200b the\u200d House\u2064 Ways\u2063 and Means Committee that\u200c felony charge recommendations were ignored\u2063 by\u2062 DOJ officials, raising further questions about the integrity of\u200d the investigation.<\/p>\n<p> \u2063 <\/p>\n<h3>Plea Deal\u2063 and Controversial\u200c Deductions<\/h3>\n<p> \u200b <\/p>\n<p>Following the\u2064 whistleblower&#8217;s testimony, it was revealed\u200b that Hunter \u200cBiden\u200c had\u2064 accepted a\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-rundown-gop-still-demanding-answers-voters-disapprove-of-hunter-plea-deal-liberals-capitalize-on-fatal-tragedy\/\" title=\"GOP demands answers, voters disapprove of Hunter plea deal, liberals exploit tragedy.\">plea deal offered<\/a>\u200d by the \u2063DOJ.
