The bill, known\u200c as the &#8220;Protect\u200c Children&#8217;s Innocence \u200dAct,&#8221;\u2064 seeks to \u2062categorize \u2064&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/god-loves-me-10-year-old-trans-child-quotes-bible-to-tell-tx-legislators-why-they-shouldnt-ban-trans-surgeries-procedures-for-minors\/\" title=\"\u2018God Loves Me\u2019: 10-Year-Old Trans Child Quotes Bible To Tell TX Legislators Why They Shouldn\u2019t Ban Trans Surgeries, Procedures For Minors\">gender-affirming care<\/a>&#8220;\u2062 on minors \u2064as\u200c a Class\u2064 C\u200c felony, effectively banning genital mutilation, castration, and sterilization \u2062of children.<\/p>\n<p>\u2064 \u2062 <\/p>\n<p>This legislation \u200bnot\u200d only prohibits \u2064taxpayer\u200c funding for such \u2064procedures but \u200balso\u2062 extends to government-sponsored healthcare plans in \u200bthe Affordable \u2064Care \u2062Act. \u2064Additionally, \u2062the bill aims to ban higher education institutions from\u2064 offering instruction on &#8220;gender-affirming care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, \u2062the \u2062bill states \u2063that aliens who have performed these\u200b medical procedures\u200b on children will be denied visas\u200d and entry into \u2064the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b  <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Under \u2063no circumstances\u200b should\u2063 doctors\u2063 be \u200ballowed\u2063 to \u200bperform these gruesome, irreversible operations \u200don underage\u200b children,&#8221; \u200dsaid \u200bSenator\u200d Vance.<\/p>\n<p>   \u2063 <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With\u2063 this\u2063 legislation, we \u2064have\u2062 an opportunity\u2062 to save countless \u2064young Americans from\u2063 a lifetime of\u200d suffering \u2062and regret. I want to \u200dthank Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene\u2064 for leading \u2062on this issue, \u200dand I look forward to working\u2063 with my Senate colleagues\u200d to \u200dprotect children from these life-altering\u2064 procedures,&#8221; he\u2064 stated.<\/p>\n<p>  \u2064<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The bill specifically \u200cprohibits \u200csurgeries \u2062that\u2062 feminize or masculinize the facial features \u200bof minors, as \u200cwell as\u200b procedures\u200c such as chest implants and gluteal implants that \u200baim\u200c to \u200dchange the\u2064 child&#8217;s \u2063body in a way that differs from \u200ctheir biological sex.<\/p>\n<p> \u200d <\/p>\n<p>The \u2063bill lists \u206216\u200c procedures under \u2062&#8221;gender-affirming care,&#8221; including \u2062castration, vasectomy, vaginoplasty, \u2064phalloplasty,\u2062 hysterectomy, \u200dand \u200bmastectomy. Violators of\u2062 the bill could\u200d face fines \u2062and imprisonment of\u2062 up to\u2062 12\u200b years.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062Protect Children&#8217;s Innocence \u2063Act\u200c is a companion\u200c legislation to H.R. \u20641399, originally\u2064 introduced by \u2064Representative\u200d Marjorie\u2064 Taylor Greene\u2062 (R-Ga.), \u200cwhich sought\u2064 to modify the United\u2063 States Code to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-most-passionate-science-deniers-are-pro-trans-experts-who-profit-from-carving-up-kids\/\" title=\"The Most Passionate Science Deniers Are Pro-Trans \u2018Experts\u2019 Who Profit From Carving Up Kids\">prohibit gender-affirming care<\/a>\u2064 on minors.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2062 release\u200b accompanying the \u200dbill highlights the irreversible mental and physical damage caused \u200cby &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-may-soon-face-emergency-appeal-on-trans-surgery-for-kids\/\" title=\"SCOTUS may soon receive urgent appeal on transgender surgery for minors.\">gender-affirming \u2062care<\/a>&#8221; \u200bon minors. It also \u2063mentions that\u200c peer\u2062 nations\u200d in Europe\u200d have significantly\u200d restricted\u200b access \u2062to \u200cthese procedures.<\/p>\n<p>  \u2062<\/p>\n<h3>Transgender Procedures \u200dHarming Minors<\/h3>\n<p>\u2063  <\/p>\n<p>Vance&#8217;s\u200b Protect Children&#8217;s Innocence Act is part of a \u2063growing movement\u2062 to prohibit subjecting minors to transgender \u2064surgeries.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2063 early\u200b June, the Republican-controlled\u200d state legislature of Louisiana passed HB \u200b648, which aimed \u2064to \u2062ban\u200b certain transgender \u2064procedures on individuals below the\u2063 age of\u2064 18.
