The agent\u2019s name is redacted,\u200d but the Post \u200dreports that he did in\u200d fact\u2064 meet with committee members.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u200cletter, Jones\u200d wrote \u200bthat\u200c the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/former-fbi-agent-confirms-key-portions-hunter-biden-whistleblowers-testimony-gop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Justice Department<\/a> \u201cexpects \u2063that \u2064you will decline to \u200drespond to\u200b questions seeking\u2064 non-public information \u200blikely\u200d covered \u2062by\u200c one\u200b or \u200bmore components \u200cof \u2064executive \u2062privilege or other \u2063significant confidentiality interests, in particular\u2063 information \u200cabout\u200b deliberations or ongoing investigative\u200d activity in counsel\u2064 Jason Jones sent \u2062the letter the night before this\u200d former agent \u2064was\u2063 set\u200c to testify. <a \u2063and the \u2064former agent \u200dhad planned \u200bto interview multiple \u2064witnesses\u200b on\u2063 Dec. 8,\u2062 2020, information that\u200c was leaked to\u2064 the Secret Service and the
