Foxx, who\u2062 is retiring from her \u2062position,\u2063 has released\u200c a\u200b list \u200cof \u2064over\u200d 150\u200b law enforcement officers deemed so\u2062 unreliable \u2064that\u2062 prosecutors\u2064 refuse\u200d to\u2064 call them \u2063as\u200c witnesses.\u200d This &#8220;Do Not Call\u2064 List&#8221; includes approximately\u200c 180 officers, both \u2062current and retired, primarily\u200b from the Chicago\u2064 Police Department but\u2062 also from\u2063 suburban\u200b departments.<\/p>\n<p>While \u2063most of\u2064 the \u2062officers\u200c on the\u2062 list\u200d are from\u2062 the\u200c Chicago Police \u200bDepartment, there \u200dare \u200ca few\u2063 outliers\u200d from other\u2064 agencies\u2063 such as the Illinois \u200dState \u2063Police, \u2062Cook \u200bCounty \u2062Sheriff&#8217;s\u200b Office,\u200d Cook\u200b County\u200c Department \u200dof \u200cCorrections,\u200c and \u2064the University \u200dof \u200dChicago.<\/p>\n<h3>Commitment\u2062 to\u200d Transparency\u2063 and \u200bJustice<\/h3>\n<p>Foxx \u2064made\u200c the decision\u200d to \u2062make this\u200b list\u2062 public as\u2063 part \u2064of her\u2062 office&#8217;s \u2062dedication to the\u200d Brady Giglio\u200d policy. \u200dThis policy, named\u200d after\u2062 two\u2063 landmark Supreme \u200bCourt\u2063 cases, \u2063Brady v.\u200c Maryland and \u200bGiglio\u2064 v.
