Starting \u200dJan. 1,\u2064 2024,\u2063 companies\u2062 such as \u2062Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube will be \u2063required to disclose how\u2062 many posts \u200bwere deemed worthy of suppression, \u200bhow \u200dmany people\u2064 viewed \u2064those \u2062posts \u200bbefore\u200b they were censored, \u200band \u2064whether they\u200c reinstated\u2062 the\u2064 contended post following an appeal\u200d from the offending\u2062 user.<\/p>\n<p>Notably missing from the \u2064law&#8217;s requirements\u200b is \u200ba description \u200dof\u2062 what \u200dthe attorney\u2064 general&#8217;s office\u2062 plans to do \u200cwith\u2063 this\u200c information \u2014 besides \u2063blasting it \u200cout\u2063 to\u2064 the public.
