Tom\u2064 Cruise\u2063 and \u200bhis team are looking \u2062for\u200d the\u200c keys while\u200c the rogue A.I. tries\u2064 to keep them from\u2064 finding the\u2062 keys. What \u2064I\u2063 have \u2063just done here is summarize \u2064a\u2062 plot\u200d that is almost \u2062literally \u2064incomprehensible, so you\u2019re welcome. \u200cBut\u2063 then,\u200d I deserve no thanks, \u2064because who sees\u2063 a\u2064 <em>Mission Impossible<\/em> movie\u200c for\u2063 the plot?\u2062 You see \u200da <em>Mission \u200dImpossible<\/em> movie because it gloms together \u200da bunch\u2062 of choreographed \u200caction \u2063sequences and\u2063 uses a \u2062bunch \u200dof argle-bargle \u2064dialogues to serve as glue.<\/p>\n<p>  \u200d<\/p>\n<div>\n \u2063\u2063 \u200d  <\/p>\n<p><a \u200bhref=\"https:\/\/handsoffmyrewards.com\/?utm_source=freebeacon&#038;utm_medium=advertising&#038;utm_campaign=2023\"\u2063 target=\"_blank\" \u200crel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u200d    \u200b<\/p>\n<p><a \u200bhref=\"https:\/\/handsoffmyrewards.com\/?utm_source=freebeacon&#038;utm_medium=advertising&#038;utm_campaign=2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p> \u2064 <\/p>\n<p><em>Dead\u200b Reckoning<\/em> is fine.\u200d It\u2019s\u2063 not\u200d great. The problem \u200bis\u2063 that the \u2063action scenes aren\u2019t \u2062as dazzling \u200das the ones\u2063 in \u2063the last\u2064 two in\u2062 the \u200cseries, <i>Rogue\u2063 Nation<\/i> \u200band\u200c <em>Fallout<\/em>.\u2064 Cruise and\u200c his collaborator \u2064on\u2062 these movies,\u2063 writer-director\u2062 Christopher McQuarrie, seem to \u200cknow they \u2062struck\u200d gold with \u200c<em>Fallout<\/em>, which\u2062 deserves \u200cconsideration as the\u200b best sheer action picture ever made, and they don\u2019t really\u200d try to outdo\u2062 it. The new movie\u2019s biggest stunt\u2014which features Cruise driving \u2063off a \u206410,000-foot\u200b high cliff\u200c in \u200dthe Alps on a motorcycle\u2014just \u2064doesn\u2019t \u2062measure\u200c up to \u200cthe\u200c sight\u2064 of him \u2062in \u200c<em>Fallout<\/em>\u200d jumping out \u2062of a plane at 30,000 \u200bfeet. What could?<\/p>\n<p> \u2063 <\/p>\n<p>I \u2062mean,\u2063 I \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/very-partisan-figure-bidens-budget-office-pick-grilled-over-past-social-media-conduct\/\" title=\"\u2018Very Partisan Figure\u2019: Biden\u2019s Budget Office Pick Grilled Over Past Social Media Conduct\">feel bad<\/a> \u2063for\u2063 Cruise, because he \u200cjust wants to make our\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cpac-attendees-seek-truth-about-jan-6-hear-the-prosecuted-speak\/\" title=\"CPAC Attendees Seek Truth About Jan. 6, Hear \u2018The Prosecuted\u2019 Speak\">jaws drop<\/a>. And they do\u2014look, the guy \u2063actually \u200bdrives \u200ba motorcycle\u200c off \u2062a \u200ccliff \u2064right \u200cin \u2062front\u2064 of our eyes, for\u200b God\u2019s sake\u2014but it\u2019s just a fact that\u200c they \u2062dropped more the\u200b last time.<\/p>\n<p>\u200d  \u200c<\/p>\n<p>The\u2062 cleverest choice Cruise and McQuarrie made\u200b here was going\u2062 smaller rather \u200cthan larger. \u200bThat\u2019s the \u2062case with \u200cthis \u2063movie\u2019s car chase, which takes \u2062place\u2062 around Rome\u2062 rather than <em>Fallout<\/em>\u2019s Paris.\u200d Cruise and his costar,\u2064 the enchanting\u200c Hayley Atwell,\u2063 are handcuffed\u2063 together \u2064in\u2064 an ancient, \u200dtiny,\u200c canary-yellow Fiat \u2062with\u200d a supercharged \u2063motor. \u2063Because\u200d the handcuffs\u200c are on his \u200dleft \u200cwrist and her right, \u2062she\u2019s the one who must drive in\u2063 and around and\u200c past Italian \u2064cops, American spies, and\u200d a crazy \u200bwoman in \u200cthe employ\u2064 of \u200cthe\u200c A.I., who\u2019s driving\u2064 a \u2062giant\u2064 military \u200cvehicle.<\/p>\n<p> \u200b\u200d <\/p>\n<p>Atwell\u2019s character \u200dis not a\u2063 trained \u200cImpossible \u200bMissions \u200dForce \u2063operative; she\u2019s\u2062 just\u2062 an ordinary\u2062 pickpocket. \u2062And\u200c so \u2062Cruise must \u2064direct her through Rome traffic and \u200bdown the Spanish Steps in a\u200b state\u2063 of\u2062 dire \u200dand \u200bimpotent \u2062panic \u200cwhile she \u200bwears a \u200cpriceless\u200b expression of sheer \u2063terror on\u2062 her face. And\u2062 truth \u200cto \u2062tell, I \u2063saw a better \u2063action movie \u200dthis year in\u2062 <em>John \u200cWick 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s\u2063 going to be\u200d a part \u200b2 of <em>Dead\u200b Reckoning<\/em>. \u200bIt \u2064will also \u2063be about the \u2064keys and\u200c the\u200b A.I. \u200dOnly this \u200dtime, if\u200c I read the tea leaves \u200dcorrectly,\u2062 Cruise is \u200dgoing to go into \u200bspace\u200d somehow and \u200ddo something. \u2064If \u2063that \u200cdoes \u2062happen, \u2064he\u2019ll\u2063 be \u2063back\u2063 on\u2063 top.
