The\u2062 remaining \u200c25 \u200bpercent\u2064 either chose not to answer\u200b or \u200bclaimed to \u2064be unsure.<\/p>\n<p>The numbers \u200dwere slightly\u200d different for\u200c respondents\u2063 aged\u200d 35 \u2062to \u200b44. In this \u2064age group,\u200c 38 percent\u2064 support \u200dthe \u200cidea of making misgendering illegal,\u200b while 35\u200d percent\u2064 oppose\u2063 it.\u2062 The remaining\u200d 26 \u200dpercent \u2062did not\u2063 take \u200da stance\u2064 on \u2064the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the \u2064survey\u2064 revealed that those\u200b between the\u200d ages of\u200b 18 and 24 were not\u200b in\u2063 favor of \u2062criminalizing \u200dmisgendering. In this\u2062 age group, 48 \u200dpercent\u200b stated \u200dthat \u200cmisgendering\u2064 should\u200b not\u200d be \u2064considered\u200d a\u2063 crime, while 33 \u200cpercent believed it should\u200c be.
