Mr. Carlson\u2064 and Mr. \u200bRamaswamy are among the speakers at that event, \ud834\udd7aalong \u2064with\u2064 Rep. Matt Gaetz\u2062 (R-Fla.), Rep. \u2062Byron Donalds \u2062(R-Fla.), and other \u2062conservatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u2064 \ud834\udd7a <\/p>\n<p>While former \ud834\udd7aPresident Donald \ud834\udd7aJ. Trump had both \u2063supporters and critics, \u2063it\u2063 was \u2064as clear \u2062in Des Moines as\u2062 elsewhere on the campaign\u200b trail\u2063 that the \u2062Manhattan real estate \u200cmogul has \u2063reshaped the Republican \u200celectorate\u2063 and \u2064its\u2063 priorities. For one thing, by\u2062 appointing the justices who helped\u2064 overturn Roe v. Santiago\/Getty\ud834\udd7a Images)<br \/>\n  <\/figure>\n<p> \u2064 \u200c<\/p>\n<p>Mr. \u2064Johnson,\u2062 who described \u200bhimself as Christian \u200cand\ud834\udd7a conservative \u201cin \u200dthat \u2062order,\u201d told The Epoch\u2064 Times\u2063 he\u2064 was perplexed\u2063 by former \u200dArkansas Gov.\u200d Asa \u200cHutchinson\u2019s defense \u200dof \u2062his 2021\ud834\udd7a veto\ud834\udd7a of a bill\u2062 that \ud834\udd7awould\u200d have \u2064barred\u2063 gender \ud834\udd7atransition\u200d surgeries\u200c and similar \u200cprocedures for minors. Yet,\u2064 he \u200calso\u2062 described Mr. Hutchinson as \u2062both intelligent\u2064 and \u2062experienced.<\/p>\n<p> \u200c <\/p>\n<p>Mr. \u200dGardner said Mr. \u2064Hutchinson \u201chad \u2064some smart lawyer\u2062 dodges\u201d for \u200chost Mr. Carlson\u2019s questioning.<\/p>\n<p> \u200b\u200b <\/p>\n<p>Mr.\u2063 Johnson commented somewhat \u2062more\u200b positively on Sen. Tim Scott \u2064(R-S.C.), who also\u200d spoke with Mr. Carlson \u200cin Des Moines.<\/p>\n<p> \u2063 <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love the\ud834\udd7a man. \u200cI\u2064 don\u2019t think he\u2019s\u2063 got\ud834\udd7a a chance \u2063to \u200bwin,\u201d\u200b Mr. Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>  \u2062<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTucker\u2019s \u2063tenacious.
