In an interview with Entertainment Tonight,\u200c Shannon \u200dsaid, \ud834\udd7a\u201cShe\u2019s \u200bStage 4. She\u2019s \u200dnot gonna \ud834\udd7ago into remission. We\u2019ve\u200b all \u200baccepted that,\u200b so\u2062 I\u2064 just tell people, \u200b\u2018one\u200c day at\u200c a \u200dtime,\u2019 \u2019cause you never know.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n \u200d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s days where I don\u2019t know \u200b(whether) to \u2062scream, get mad, or \u200dbe \u200bhappy,\u201d Shannon\u200b expressed \u2064during her ET\u200b interview.<\/p>\n<p>\ud834\udd7a  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs\u200d her\ud834\udd7a mom, \u200dwe\u2019ve \u200chad \u200ctalks you don\u2019t \u200cwant \u2062to have \ud834\udd7awith your \u2064child.\u200c We \u200bknow\u2064 what the endgame is and\u2064 we are\u2062 prepared for that.\u200c You\u2019re never prepared, but \u200cwe \u200cknow what \u2063could happen,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In\u2062 another \ud834\udd7ainterview\u2063 with\u200b ETOnline, Shannon mentioned that \u2062Cardwell \u200cis \u200bcurrently \u200bhandling her diagnosis remarkably\u2064 well. Despite\u2064 the challenges, Cardwell\u2063 is still\u2063 able to carry\u2063 out \u200ddaily \u2064activities such\u200b as going\u2063 to \u2064the\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-year-of-living-fearfully\/\" title=\"The Year of Living Fearfully\">grocery store<\/a> \u200dand \ud834\udd7adriving herself and her\u200b children\u2062 around.<\/p>\n<p>However, the physical effects of\u200b the cancer \u2064are\u200d evident. Cardwell\u2062 has\u200b lost her hair,\ud834\udd7a eyebrows,\ud834\udd7a and body hair due to\u200d the aggressive nature of the\u2063 disease.<\/p>\n<p>After undergoing four \u2064rounds\u2064 of\ud834\udd7a chemotherapy, \u200bCardwell&#8217;s next\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-mama-june-reveals-daughters-just-diagnosed-cancer-is-terminal\/\" title=\"Mama June shares heartbreaking news: Daughter's cancer is terminal.\">steps \u2064remain \u2062uncertain<\/a>. Shannon explained, \u201cShe just\u2063 wants \u200cto\u2063 see\u2064 how it\u2019s gonna\u200d go. We don\u2019t know \u2064what\u2063 to\ud834\udd7a expect because \u2062the cancer is very \ud834\udd7aaggressive \u200dand it grew from \u200dnothing\u2062 to\u200c something huge on the\u200d left \u2064side \u200cof \u2063her\u200c body\u200d really fast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the difficult\ud834\udd7a circumstances,\ud834\udd7a there \u2063is\u200b always\u200c hope.\u200d Shannon&#8217;s \u2063daughter \ud834\udd7aLauryn \u201cPumpkin\u201d \u200dEfird\u2064 expressed\u2064 optimism,\u200d saying, \u200c\u201cHonestly, who\u2019s not\u200b to \u2063say\u200d a year\ud834\udd7a from\u2064 now\u200c they\u2019ll \u200dhave \u200ca cure? The\u2063 medical \u2064field \u2064is growing every\u200d single day. \u200bThere\u2019s always \u200dsomething.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>A Tragic \u2062Past<\/h3>\n<p>Cardwell&#8217;s journey has \u200dbeen marked\u200c by tragedy. She\u2062 was\u200b molested \u2064as\ud834\udd7a a child by a former \u2063boyfriend \u2064of\ud834\udd7a her mother, which \u2063led to \u2063their estrangement \u200dand the\u200d cancellation of \u2063their\u2063 family&#8217;s \u2064first\u200b series, &#8220;Here\u2063 Comes Honey Boo \u2064Boo.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on the traumatic experience, \u200bCardwell\u200c said, \u201cWhen\u200b we\ud834\udd7a first met \ud834\udd7ahim, he was\ud834\udd7a very, \ud834\udd7avery\u2063 nice, treated all of us\ud834\udd7a girls \u200dright.\u200d And \u200bthen, all\u200d of a \u200dsudden, one day, he \u2064just rubbed\u2063 my\u2062 leg.
