Instead of staying seated like most interviewees, Scott got up and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pro-soccer-goalie-allegedly-accosted-by-palestinians-in-nyc-says-one-threatened-to-kill-him-if-he-was-jewish\/\" title=\"Pro Soccer Goalie Allegedly Accosted By Palestinians In NYC, Says One Threatened To Kill Him If He Was Jewish\">started walking<\/a> around.<\/p>\n<p>The interview, which lasted about 30 minutes, covered a range of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/state-dept-considers-refugee-status-for-some-hongkongers\/\" title=\"State Dept. considers refugee status for some Hongkongers\">topics including<\/a> the U.S.-Mexico border and the fentanyl crisis. While Carlson remained seated, Scott stood for the majority of the conversation.<\/p>\n<p>When Carlson asked Scott if he was concerned about the possibility of war with Russia, given President Joe Biden&#8217;s recent decision to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tim-scott-gets-up-in-the-middle-of-tucker-carlson-interview-heres-his-explanation\/\" title=\"Tim Scott interrupts Tucker Carlson interview - Here's why\">mobilize reserve troops<\/a>, Scott addressed the question while standing. He explained, &#8220;My mama wanted a preacher, so I\u2019m going to stand up and do it the Southern way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The unexpected move caught Carlson off guard, and he couldn&#8217;t help but laugh. He jokingly shouted, &#8220;Preach!&#8221; in response to Scott&#8217;s statement. Scott even added a &#8220;Hallelujah&#8221; as he briefly moved in a preacher-like manner.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter users were quick to react to the moment, with one writing, &#8220;Tucker\u2019s face cracking me up as Scott gets up and starts pacing, lol.&#8221; Another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/what-size-are-you-currently-oprah-slammed-for-2004-interview-with-olsen-twins\/\" title=\"\u2018What Size ARE YOU CURRENTLY?\u2019: Oprah Slammed For 2004 Interview With Olsen Twins\">user commented<\/a>, &#8220;Tucker\u2019s face when he gets up to talk. &#8216;Where\u2019s this guy going? I had more questions.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, not everyone found Scott&#8217;s actions amusing. One Twitter user expressed their concern, stating, &#8220;The way Tim Scott stood up and walked around to speak in a &#8216;preaching&#8217; manner during this sit-down interview just seemed a little weird &#038; slightly disrespectful towards Tucker.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The interview was part of the GOP presidential forum hosted by Tucker Carlson and organized by Glenn Beck&#8217;s organization, The Blaze.
