However, it has been reported that they skipped a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hungary-takes-lead-as-europe-prepares-to-begin-covid-19-vaccinations\/\" title=\"Hungary takes lead as Europe prepares to begin COVID-19 vaccinations\">crucial step<\/a> in the process &#8211; conducting interviews.<\/p>\n<p>According to NBC News, Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi stated that interviews were not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-celebrated-new-york-posts-false-story-embarrassment-heres-a-list-of-false-stories-theyve-pushed-themselves\/\" title=\"CNN Celebrated New York Post\u2019s False Story Embarrassment. Here\u2019s A List Of False Stories They\u2019ve Pushed Themselves\">held due<\/a> to the inability to narrow down the list of potential suspects.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Gugliemi claimed those interviews \u201ccould be a strain on resources, might infringe upon civil liberties and would likely be fruitless without corresponding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/he-was-wrongfully-imprisoned-for-23-years-now-hes-suing-for-93-million\/\" title=\"He Was Wrongfully Imprisoned For 23 Years. Now He\u2019s Suing For  Million.\">physical evidence tying<\/a> any person to the drugs,\u201d as over 500 people were on the list.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gugliemi also noted that they could have held voluntary interviews with individuals, but cited, \u201c[W]e have no evidence to approach them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The case was ultimately closed after no fingerprints or substantial DNA were found on the baggie, and there was no surveillance footage of the area.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWithout physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered,\u201d the Secret Service stated in a release.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Former U.S. attorney Chuck Rosenberg commented on the situation, stating, \u201cThey could have done the interviews, but at the end of the day it\u2019s a long walk through dry sand. They have finite resources and it\u2019s OK for them to decide some things are worth their time and some things are not worth their time.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Previous Drug Incidents at the White House<\/h3>\n<p>Interestingly, this was not the first time drugs were found during President Joe Biden\u2019s tenure at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The Secret Service reportedly disclosed to Congress earlier this month that marijuana was found twice in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>As news of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/secret-service-knowingly-skipped-crucial-step-in-white-house-cocaine-investigation-report\/\" title=\"Report: Secret Service skipped crucial step in White House cocaine investigation.\">cocaine discovery broke<\/a>, it led to speculation about who might be responsible for it. Former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on Truth Social, stating, \u201cTHEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS. If they don\u2019t release information, it means they destroyed the tapes &#038; the Cocaine was for use by Hunter, &#038; probably Crooked Joe, in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino also weighed in on the matter, based on his previous knowledge of protocol. He believes that the individual responsible for the cocaine bypassed the security checkpoints.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe Secret Service didn\u2019t have cocaine on \u2019em, so it had to be one of the protectees,\u201d he stated. \u201cThere is no other explanation.
