Ron DeSantis passionately defended Florida&#8217;s controversial six-week abortion ban. However, when pressed about implementing a similar ban at the federal level, DeSantis skillfully dodged the question, leaving room for speculation.<\/p>\n<h3>A Vision for Pro-Life Legislation<\/h3>\n<p>When asked about his intentions as president regarding abortion, DeSantis expressed his desire to sign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/south-carolina-to-become-latest-state-to-pass-heartbeat-bill\/\" title=\"South Carolina to Become Latest State to Pass Heartbeat Bill\">pro-life legislation<\/a> and foster a culture of life in the country. He emphasized that he entered office to do what he believes is right, regardless of the potential consequences.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s been written about how I lost a lot of really big supporters. Some of them just aren\u2019t pro-life. Some of them think it\u2019s a political liability,&#8221; DeSantis revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Although the ban is currently blocked by the courts pending litigation, DeSantis highlighted that Florida already has a 15-week abortion ban in place, showcasing his commitment to protecting the unborn.<\/p>\n<h3>Praising Gov. Kim Reynolds<\/h3>\n<p>During the interview, DeSantis took a moment to praise Gov. Kim Reynolds of Iowa, who had just signed a similar six-week abortion ban earlier that day.
