They found 40 skulls and other human bones, including spinal cords, femurs, and hip bones. The raid was conducted in connection to an alleged trafficking scheme involving human remains linked to Harvard Medical School.<\/p>\n<p>James Nott, the resident of Mount Washington, Kentucky, is accused of using a fake name, &#8220;William Burke,&#8221; to sell human remains on Facebook. Investigators found that Nott had been obtaining these bones from around the world and using them as decorations throughout his residence.<\/p>\n<p>After the raid, Nott was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The Department of Justice stated that the raid was conducted to search for firearms and trafficked human remains.<\/p>\n<p>The criminal complaint against Nott revealed that he had been posting human remains for sale on Facebook as recently as June 23.
