It May Not Be Caused by Heart Disease\">caused due<\/a> to very <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/detailed-reconstruction-of-titan-sub-disaster-gains-millions-of-views-in-short-time\/\" title=\"Titan Sub Disaster Reconstruction Goes Viral\">high hydrostatic pressure<\/a> of the surrounding water, which happened within a fraction of a millisecond,\u201d AiTelly said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instead of being made with traditional materials such as steel, aluminum, and titanium, the submersible used an \u201cexperimental design\u201d constructed mostly of carbon fibers.<\/p>\n<p>While these fibers are lighter than other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-deadly-explosion-pharmaceutical-plant-triggers-7-alarm-hazardous-materials-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">materials<\/a>, AiTelly said, <strong>\u201cThe properties of carbon fibers for deep-sea applications are, however, not that well understood.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nearly-a-ton-of-cocaine-washes-up-on-french-beach\/\" title=\"Nearly a Ton of Cocaine Washes up on French Beach\">channel stated<\/a> the fibers <strong>\u201ccan crack and break suddenly.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-suv-plows-through-crowd-that-was-mobbing-his-car-while-responding-to-street-racing-in-tacoma-video\/\" title=\"Police SUV Plows Through Crowd that Was Mobbing His Car While Responding To Street Racing In Tacoma (VIDEO)\">full video<\/a> below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush gave a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/flashback-oceangate-ceo-admits-unsettling-fact-titanic-sub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021 interview<\/a> in which he commented on the materials used for the submersible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe carbon fiber and titanium, there\u2019s a rule you don\u2019t do that \u2014 well, I did,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve broken some rules to make this; I think I\u2019ve broken them with logic and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-hit-bud-light-manufacturer-settles-with-epa-over-alleged-environmental-violations\/\" title=\"Bud Light maker settles with EPA for environmental violations.\">good engineering<\/a> behind me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Josh Gates, host of the Discovery Channel program \u201cExpedition Unknown,\u201d expressed his concerns with the quality of the submersible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s more to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/alert-new-threads-app-secretly-collects-highly-sensitive-data-even-search-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">history<\/a> and design of Titan that has not been made public \u2014 much of it concerning,\u201d he wrote just days after the sub went missing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">To those asking, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Titan?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Titan<\/a> did not perform well on my dive. Ultimately, I walked away from a huge opportunity to film Titanic due to my safety concerns w\/ the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OceanGate?\">@OceanGate<\/a> platform.
