Grawe was banned from practicing in Ohio and fined $4,500 for failing to meet the standard of care, WCMH <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc4i.com\/news\/local-news\/ohio-medical-board-strips-dr-roxy-of-license-after-tiktok-livestreams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A member of the Ohio Medical Board said at a hearing in Columbus on Wednesday that Grawe prioritized her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/film-festival-bans-russian-films-in-solidarity-with-ukraine\/\" title=\"Film Festival Bans Russian Films in Solidarity With Ukraine\">social media clout<\/a> above the well-being of her patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI strongly recommend that there never be a Dr. Roxy or patient one, two or three \u2014 and protect the people of the state of Ohio from this reckless physician,\u201d said board member Dr. Jonathan Feibel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mary Jenkins, one of Grawe\u2019s former patients who successfully sued the doctor in 2019 after tissue from her breast reconstruction died, hopes the board\u2019s decision will offer some closure to victims like her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt will never go away,\u201d Jenkins said, \u201cbecause every time we look down, we see a scar and we will always remember.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The board said Grawe was warned as early as 2018 about privacy concerns regarding her filming of the procedures often located in intimate areas. Grawe\u2019s license was temporarily suspended last October before the board completely stripped it away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the Wednesday hearing, Grawe said she filmed her surgeries \u201cto <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-does-this-image-show-colorfully-dyed-sheep-in-scotland\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Does This Image Show Colorfully-Dyed Sheep In Scotland?\">make people smile<\/a> in a world that is negative and difficult to navigate\u201d but added that she now understands \u201cmany of those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ohio-bans-plastic-surgeon-who-harmed-patients-while-livestreaming-on-tiktok-medical-board-says\/\" title=\"Ohio Medical Board bans plastic surgeon for harming patients on TikTok livestreams.\">silly videos appeared unprofessional<\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Severe Complications and Recklessness<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to a notice from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-state-legislatures-move-to-ban-chemical-abortion-by-mail\/\" title=\"GOP State Legislatures Move To Ban Chemical Abortion By Mail\">medical board<\/a>, another one of Grawe\u2019s patients suffered a perforated intestine one week after her surgery that the TikTok doctor performed while livestreaming for her followers.
