Next week, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability will be holding a highly anticipated hearing. This hearing will feature two brave whistleblowers from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) who will testify before Congress. They will shed light on the Biden family&#8217;s financial dealings and expose the &#8220;politicization and misconduct&#8221; within federal agencies regarding investigations into Hunter Biden.<\/p>\n<h3>Meet the Whistleblowers<\/h3>\n<p>One of the whistleblowers, Gary Shapley, an IRS supervisory special agent, revealed his identity back in May. The other whistleblower, known as Whistleblower X, is a criminal investigator with the IRS.<\/p>\n<p>This hearing is open to the public and press, and you can even watch it live online!<\/p>\n<h3>Transparency and Accountability<\/h3>\n<p>Both whistleblowers have provided compelling documents that show how the investigations into the Biden family were hindered in some way. Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) sees this as an opportunity to give the American people the transparency and accountability they deserve.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSince taking the gavel in January, the Committee on Oversight and Accountability has made rapid progress in our investigation into the Biden family\u2019s domestic and international business dealings to determine whether these activities compromise U.S. national security and President [Joe] Biden\u2019s ability to lead with impartiality,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the thousands of financial records we\u2019ve obtained, we know the Biden family set up over 20 shell companies, engaged in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/four-key-takeaways-from-gop-report-on-hunter-biden-investigation\/\" title=\"Four Key Takeaways from GOP Report on Hunter Biden Investigation\">intentionally complicated financial transactions<\/a> with foreign adversaries, and made a concerted effort to hide the payments and avoid scrutiny,\u201d said Mr. Comer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability that is investigating the Biden family&#8217;s financial dealings. The House Ways and Means Committee has also been conducting its own investigation. Last month, they released transcripts of 14 hours of testimony, which revealed that Hunter Biden had received over $17 million from Ukraine, China, and Russia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdditionally, these whistleblowers provided information about how the Justice Department refused to follow evidence that implicated Joe Biden, tipped off Hunter Biden\u2019s attorneys, allowed the clock to run out with respect to certain charges, and put Hunter Biden on the path to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ghislaine-maxwell-now-accusing-prison-guard-of-abuse\/\" title=\"Ghislaine Maxwell Now Accusing Prison Guard Of Abuse\">sweetheart plea deal<\/a>,\u201d Mr. Comer stated. \u201cAmericans are rightfully angry about this two-tiered system of justice that seemingly allows the Biden family to operate above the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Interference?<\/h2>\n<p>During the testimonies in the House Ways and Means Committee, the whistleblowers revealed that the Justice Department and IRS used various tactics to delay investigations into Hunter Biden&#8217;s tax fraud. These <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/previously-anonymous-irs-whistleblower-will-testify-in-biden-house-investigation\/\" title=\"Formerly unidentified IRS whistleblower to testify in House investigation on Biden.\">tactics included denying requests<\/a> to bring charges, letting the statute of limitations run out, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-intel-nominee-grilled-for-huawei-work\/\" title=\"Biden Intel Nominee Grilled for Huawei Work\">sharing sensitive information<\/a> with Mr. Biden&#8217;s attorneys.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested, you can view the transcript from the first whistleblower, Mr. Shapley, <a href=\"https:\/\/waysandmeans.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Whistleblower-1-Transcript_Redacted.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. These testimonies were initially given in a closed-door hearing but were made public after a vote. It&#8217;s worth noting that all Democrats on the committee voted against the measure.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the whistleblowers faced immediate retaliation after coming forward. They were passed over for promotions and removed from the investigation of Mr. Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Merrick Garland has denied the claims of interference by federal agencies in the investigation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5333526\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><\/noscript> U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland delivers remarks during a meeting with U.S. attorneys at the Justice Department in Washington on June 14, 2023. (Kevin Dietsch\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was mentioned in the testimonies, has also refuted claims that he was denied authority to bring charges.<\/p>\n<p>During a press conference following the House Ways and Means Committee hearing, Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) expressed his concern that the government was not treating all taxpayers equally. He highlighted how Mr. Biden received a &#8220;slap on the wrist&#8221; and &#8220;soft glove treatment&#8221; despite the evidence that came to light.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Mr. Biden&#8217;s attorneys were informed by the IRS about documents stored in a Northern Virginia storage unit, giving them time to remove the documents.<\/p>\n<p>In another case, investigators authenticated WeChat messages in which Mr. Biden demanded payment from Chinese business partners, using his father&#8217;s name and position as leverage.<\/p>\n<h2>FBI&#8217;s 2-Day Interview With Alleged Whistleblower<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the IRS whistleblowers, there is another alleged whistleblower named Gal Luft. On Wednesday, Committee Chairman James Comer requested that the FBI share an unredacted copy of the report from a two-day interview conducted in 2019 with Luft.
