James Comer (R-KY), chair of the committee and leader of the Biden investigations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the thousands of financial records we\u2019ve obtained, we know the Biden family set up over 20 shell companies, engaged in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/four-key-takeaways-from-gop-report-on-hunter-biden-investigation\/\" title=\"Four Key Takeaways from GOP Report on Hunter Biden Investigation\">intentionally complicated financial transactions<\/a> with foreign adversaries, and made a concerted effort to hide the payments and avoid scrutiny,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to Comer, the whistleblowers will also discuss claims that the Department of Justice gave Hunter special treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdditionally, these whistleblowers provided information about how the Justice Department refused to follow evidence that implicated Joe Biden, tipped off Hunter Biden\u2019s attorneys, allowed the clock to run out with respect to certain charges, and put Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal. He is not expected to face any jail time if the deal is approved.<\/p>\n<p>Shapley previously revealed a 2017 WhatsApp message, purportedly from Hunter, invoking President Joe Biden in an apparent attempt to pressure a Chinese businessman into some sort of a deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.
