Specifically, they identified issues in the supply of screen design software, an area where both companies compete.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Despite being given five working days to propose solutions, Adobe informed the CMA on July 7 that it would not offer any remedies, as reported by the CMA on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Both Figma and Adobe referred Reuters to their previous response in June, when the regulator first raised these concerns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to presenting the facts in the next phase of the process and successfully completing the transaction,\u201d stated an Adobe spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>The CMA will now conduct an in-depth investigation, known as a phase two probe, with the help of independent experts. The deadline for the CMA to conclude its investigation is December 27.<\/p>\n<p>Figma\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/adobe-to-buy-figma-in-20-billion-bid-on-future-of-work-that-spooks-investors\/\" title=\"Adobe to buy Figma in  billion bid on future of work that spooks investors\">web-based collaborative platform<\/a> for designs and brainstorming is widely popular among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-massive-tech-company-announces-it-is-leaving-california\/\" title=\"Another Massive Tech Company Announces It Is Leaving California\">tech companies<\/a> like Zoom Video Communications, Airbnb, and Coinbase. <\/p>\n<p>Adobe announced its cash-and-stock acquisition of Figma in September and aims to finalize the deal by the end of this year.
