They have found that these schools are providing free hormone medication and sex-reassignment operations to children as young as 11.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>According to documents released this week by PDE, health clinics at Meany Middle School and Nova High School, both located in Seattle, are offering on-site and free care to children. However, critics argue that taxpayers will likely be the ones paying for these services.<\/p>\n<p>The provider for these facilities, Country Doctor Community Health Facilities (CDCHC), has promised to provide medications and operations to children and teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>CDCHC&#8217;s website states that their mission is to promote health in transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse communities by ensuring equal access to gender-affirming medications and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Erika Sanzi, PDE\u2019s head of outreach, strongly condemned the schools&#8217; involvement in &#8220;gender-affirming care&#8221; for children.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s terrible enough that doctors are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/legislation-introduced-to-allow-adults-to-sue-doctors-who-perform-gender-transition-procedures-on-minors\/\" title=\"Legislation Introduced To Allow Adults to Sue Doctors Who Perform Gender Transition Procedures On Minors\">prescribing cross-sex hormones<\/a> and performing surgeries on minors,\u201d Sanzi said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cInvolving schools is a whole other level of dreadful and scary,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While puberty blockers are still prohibited for pre-pubescents, children as young as 10\u201311 will be able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/leading-trans-health-group-wants-to-lower-ages-for-medical-gender-transition\/\" title=\"Leading Trans Health Group Wants to Lower Ages for Medical Gender Transition\">obtain cross-sex hormones<\/a> such as estrogen and testosterone at two primary care clinics managed by CDCHC in other parts of the city.<\/p>\n<p>According to documents received by PDE from the Seattle Public School, both clinics are fully staffed and offer comprehensive, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe Nova Wellness Center offers no-cost comprehensive, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care, conveniently at the school,\u2019 the passage reads, before listing and specifying some of the services it offers, including \u2018gender-reaffirming care,\u201d the documents said. \u201cWe bill appropriate services to insurance if you have it\u2026 There are never any co-pays or co-insurance to worry about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe also offer services and support to students and families without insurance,\u201d the documents concluded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Nova Wellness Center also provides therapy at no cost and with a trauma-informed approach, as stated on its website.<\/p>\n<p>Since the announcement of this policy on Tuesday, parents have expressed their displeasure with it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe combination of the district\u2019s parental exclusion policies, and its provision of dubious medical interventions to change a child\u2019s sex, creates a really troubling situation for Seattle families,\u201d said Alex Nester, an investigative researcher for PDE.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Stay informed!
