Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, praised Wray as a &#8220;good guy&#8221; who possesses the ability to address and resolve numerous issues within the FBI. According to Christie, Wray has already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/standoff-between-chicago-public-schools-and-teachers-continues\/\" title=\"Standoff between Chicago Public Schools and teachers continues\">made significant progress<\/a> in fixing these problems.<\/p>\n<h3>Supporting the Men and Women of the FBI<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;What you saw today, I think, was an animated and combative FBI director who\u2019s defending the men and women who work for him every day and do a great job and protect us from domestic terrorism, from international terrorism, and from these drug cartels,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Christie expressed to Fox News host John Roberts. He further stated, &#8220;I think Chris Wray has done a very good job. And I think, look, a lot of the stuff you see today is theater. Other concerns focused on the FBI&#8217;s response to parents and the raid of former President Donald Trump&#8217;s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these challenges, Christie remains steadfast in his support for Wray, emphasizing their long-standing friendship and professional history.<\/p>\n<h3>A Trusted Friend and Colleague<\/h3>\n<p>Christie and Wray have been friends for over two decades, having worked together in the Bush Justice Department and during Christie&#8217;s tenure as governor.
