I couldn\u2019t go out for dinner. I was really, really struggling. I just sort of said to myself, like, \u2018Why? Why am I enslaved to this drink? I could handle problems better,\u201d he said. \u201cThings that would go wrong on set, that would normally set me off, I could take in my stride. I had such better mental clarity. I felt healthier, I felt fitter. I\u2019m happy to say it \u2013 I was definitely addicted to alcohol. I\u2019m not shying away from that at all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Inspiring Others to Embrace Sobriety<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Holland&#8217;s decision to give up alcohol has had a positive impact on those around him. He shared that his mom also chose sobriety after witnessing his transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cShe\u2019s loving it, and it\u2019s been amazing,\u201d Holland said during the podcast interview. \u201cI can\u2019t believe the difference that I feel from not drinking.
