Biden.\">agencies \u201cface irreparable harm<\/a> with each day the injunction remains in effect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough this Preliminary Injunction involves numerous agencies, it is not as broad as it appears,\u201d Doughty wrote in his <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.lawd.189520\/gov.uscourts.lawd.189520.301.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">13-page ruling<\/a>. \u201cIt only prohibits something the Defendants have no legal right to do \u2014 contacting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/babylon-bee-censorship-shows-why-fifth-circuit-should-uphold-texas-social-media-law\/\" title=\"Babylon Bee Censorship Shows Why Fifth Circuit Should Uphold Texas\u2019 Social Media Law\">social-media companies<\/a> for the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner, the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-bars-biden-press-secretary-from-flagging-posts-for-big-tech-to-censor-two-years-after-admin-bragged-about-it\/\" title=\"Judge prohibits Biden press secretary from flagging posts for Big Tech censorship, despite previous administration's pride in the practice.\">protected free speech posted<\/a> on social-media platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The federal government claimed it can no longer participate in a \u201cvast range of lawful and responsible conduct, including speaking on matters of public concern, and working with social-media companies on initiatives to prevent grave harm to the American people and the Country\u2019s various democratic processes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doughty, however, said that under his preliminary injunction, agencies like the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the White House, and the State Department are allowed to use Big Tech lawfully. The only thing the Biden regime is barred from doing is continuing to silence Americans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDefendants cite no specific action that would be prohibited by this Preliminary Injunction<br \/>that would provide grave harm to the American people or over democratic processes. In fact, in<br \/>opposition to the Motion for Preliminary Injunction, Defendants submitted five Declarations that addressed Defendants\u2019 concerns. Every one of these concerns was addressed in the Preliminary Injunction exceptions,\u201d Doughty wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Plaintiffs celebrated the denial as another win for Americans\u2019 rights to protected speech.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday is another big win for free speech and our efforts to fight back against big tech and government censorship,\u201d Sen. Eric Schmitt \u2014 who filed the case while working in the Missouri Attorney General\u2019s office \u2014 said in a statement. \u201cThe federal judge that granted the injunction in\u00a0<em>Missouri v. Biden<\/em>\u00a0just similarly denied both of the federal government\u2019s motions to stay that injunction, keeping it in place. This is yet another victory for freedom of speech, and another crushing defeat for censorship.
