Despite his own administration&#8217;s admission of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/does-ukraine-mean-vladimir-putins-fate-is-sealed\/\" title=\"Does Ukraine Mean Vladimir Putin\u2019s Fate Is Sealed?\">multiple mistakes<\/a>, Biden claimed he was right about the withdrawal.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview on CNN, McCaul was asked to respond to Biden&#8217;s previous statements. The reporter questioned whether there were any mistakes made during the withdrawal and beforehand.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cNo, no, all the evidence is coming back there, remember what I said about Afghanistan? I said al Qaeda would not be there. I said it wouldn\u2019t be there,\u201d Biden said. \u201cI said we would get help from the Taliban. What\u2019s happening now? What\u2019s going on? Read your press. I was right.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>McCaul, in reaction to Biden&#8217;s remarks, described them as &#8220;devoid of reality.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cJake, it\u2019s a little bit eerie that a president of the United States would be so disillusioned about what\u2019s happening on the ground in Afghanistan, the idea that al Qaeda is gone,\u201d McCaul said. \u201cHis own secretary of defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff, Milley, have said al Qaeda is on the rise in Afghanistan. He\u2019s saying they\u2019re gone. He\u2019s saying the Taliban are helping us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>McCaul continued to highlight the contradictions in Biden&#8217;s statements, emphasizing the presence of al Qaeda in Afghanistan after the withdrawal.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhat happened right after he withdrew? Zawahiri was harbored by the Haqqani Network, which is al Qaeda, essentially,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo, you got Haqqani and the Taliban harboring Zawahiri, al Qaeda, bin Laden\u2019s number two guy, in Afghanistan right after the fall. And now he\u2019s saying, I was right. The Taliban is helping us and al Qaeda is gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>McCaul concluded by expressing his disbelief at a president being so disconnected from his own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-red-wave-of-conservative-women-elected-to-congress\/\" title=\"The Red Wave of Conservative Women Elected to Congress\">foreign policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/top-house-republican-blasts-bidens-claims-about-afghanistan-devoid-of-reality\/\" title=\"GOP Leader Criticizes Biden's Afghanistan Remarks as \"Disconnected from Reality\"\">huge foreign policy blunder<\/a>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Watch the video below:<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) criticized President Biden for defending his decision to withdraw from Afghanistan despite his administration&#8217;s admission of multiple errors.
