The protest took place during a debate on transgenderism featuring Daily Wire host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/michael-knowles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Knowles<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Journalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/andy-ngo\">Andy Ngo<\/a>, known for his reporting on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/andy-ngo-known-for-reporting-on-antifa-permanently-banned-from-soundcloud-report\">Antifa\u2019s activism and violence<\/a>, shared the photos on Twitter. The images allegedly depict Brian and Krystal DiPippa, Pittsburgh residents who now face charges over a violent clash with law enforcement during the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update: Photos of Brian &#038; Krystal DiPippa have been found. These &#8220;anarchist bookstores&#8221; serve as meeting and training spaces for Antifa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ngo also shared a <a href=\"https:\/\/ngo.locals.com\/post\/4262513\/criminal-complaint-for-antifa-couple-accused-of-explosive-attack-on-michael-knowles-event\">link<\/a> to his Locals page, where he posted an FBI agent&#8217;s affidavit in support of a search warrant. The affidavit provides a timeline and insight into how investigators identified the DiPippas, who were reportedly wearing masks during the protest. It also mentions that Brian DiPippa triggered airport security alarms multiple times with belongings that tested positive for explosive compound RDX, but he was allowed to travel.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Knowles, in response to Ngo&#8217;s revelations, expressed his shock and concern, stating that the situation was far more dangerous and coordinated than he had previously known.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Wow. The charges include conspiracy, obstruction of law enforcement, and for Brian DiPippa, using an explosive to commit a federal felony, according to a U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office news release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The DOJ release states that during the protest on April 18, 2023, Brian DiPippa ignited and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/photos-show-indicted-couple-from-antifa-explosive-attacks-at-michael-knowles-event\/\" title=\"Photos reveal couple indicted for involvement in 'Antifa explosive attacks' at Michael Knowles event.\">dropped homemade smoke bomb containers<\/a> near a line of people waiting to enter the O\u2019Hara Student Center. When Pitt Police officers formed a barrier to prevent the protesters from entering the building, Brian DiPippa, concealed by his wife Krystal, threw a large explosive firework into the group of officers, causing injuries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If found guilty, the charges of conspiracy and obstruction of law enforcement could result in a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a $500,000 fine, or both.
