Why are you trying to pull me over as I\u2019m going into work?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBecause you\u2019re going 80 in a 45,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s deputy fired back.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhat does it look like I am dressed for?\u201d Shaouni continued. \u201cWhat does it look like I am dressed for?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s deputy said that he needed to see Shaouni\u2019s driver\u2019s license, at which point Shaouni said no, turned his back on the sheriff\u2019s deputy, got back in his police cruiser, and drove off.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1688831213092000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1PLjNvPE9xhE43TkDJzri8\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Orlando Police Department said that Shaouni is now under criminal investigation over the matter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficer Shaouni has been relieved of duty pending the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s criminal investigation and OPD\u2019s Internal Affairs investigation,\u201d the Orlando Police Department said in a statement. \u201cAny further information on the criminal investigation will have to be obtained from the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s Office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 18th Circuit State Attorney\u2019s Office announced this week that it had charged Shaouni with \u201ca felony count of fleeing or attempting to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-officer-who-led-deputy-on-high-speed-chase-charged-with-felony\/\" title=\"Police officer charged with felony for leading deputy on high-speed chase.\">elude law enforcement<\/a> and a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer without violence,\u201d according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/2023\/07\/07\/orlando-officer-formally-charged-with-fleeing-traffic-stop-near-oviedo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orlando Sentinel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Shaouni, who has pleaded not guilty, was released from custody on a $9,000 bond.<\/p>\n<h3>WATCH:<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Orlando police officer, Alexander Shaouni, is facing a criminal investigation for allegedly fleeing a traffic stop.
