GOP Still Waiting On Answers After A Strongly Worded Letter<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>David Weiss, the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/manhattan-da-leading-trump-investigation-announces-intention-to-leave-office\/\" title=\"Manhattan DA Leading Trump Investigation Announces Intention to Leave Office\">district attorney leading<\/a> the Hunter Biden investigation, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/06\/doj-prosecutor-snubs-house-deadline-for-hunter-probe-docs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ignored a<\/a> deadline to comply with congressional demands Thursday night. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Republican Jim Jordan (R-OH) demanded that Weiss provide materials relating to alleged retaliation against whistleblowers, who say the probe has been sabotaged due to pressure from Biden officials. Rep. Jordan sent the letter to Weiss in late June requesting more information, including on the removal of IRS agent Gary Shapley, one of the whistleblowers who was overseeing the agency\u2019s investigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reaction:<\/strong> As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/whats-the-gop-doing-about-the-doj-double-standard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously observed<\/a>, how many more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whats-the-gop-doing-about-the-doj-double-standard\/\" title=\"What is the GOP doing about the DOJ's double standard?\">strongly worded letters<\/a> will Republican politicians promise to send? Will another hearing make things right? Does the GOP really think that any of that will force the Department of Justice or Democrats to change their ways? What\u2019s the end game here?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s all a bit reminiscent of past corruption that Republicans promised to get to the bottom of, such as Benghazi, the IRS-Tea Party Scandal, Operation Fast &#038; Furious, Hillary Clinton\u2019s emails, and countless other examples. Once they get to the bottom of the outrage <em>du jour<\/em>, that\u2019s where the GOP remains. Meanwhile, Democrats and their allies move on to the next abuse of power.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Most Voters Disapprove Of The Hunter Biden Plea Deal<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>A majority of voters disapprove of the plea deal offered to President Biden\u2019s son Hunter. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/biden_administration\/55_disapprove_of_hunter_biden_s_sweetheart_plea_deal\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rasmussen Reports<\/span><\/a> poll found that 55% disapprove of the plea bargain, including 41% who \u201cstrongly\u201d disapprove. Just 37% approve of the deal, with only 19% \u201cstrongly\u201d approving. Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty on charges that he violated federal tax and resolve a gun violation, with some legal experts calling it a \u201csweetheart deal\u201d that would not have been offered to the average American.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reaction:<\/strong> The American people aren\u2019t dumb. The Hunter plea deal is the latest evidence for many that the system is rigged. That has led to Americans seeking candidates who go against the D.C. Establishment. That anti-establishment fervor is found in both parties \u2014 hence the popularity of candidates such as Robert Kennedy, Jr., former President Donald Trump, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. All other GOP candidates, minus a few, also include anti-establishment rhetoric in their stump speeches.<\/p>\n<p>To go off point one, perhaps the only to help \u201crestore\u201d order at the DOJ is to impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland \u2014 as has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/mccarthy-threatens-ag-garland-with-impeachment-if-whistleblower-allegations-are-true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suggested<\/a> by folks like House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).<\/p>\n<h3>3. U.S. Tap Water Majorly Contaminated, Report Says<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/nearly-half-of-u-s-tap-water-contains-forever-chemicals-government-study-finds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Geological Survey<\/a> reveals that nearly 50% of all U.S. tap water contains \u201cForever Chemicals\u201d or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nearly-half-of-u-s-tap-water-contains-forever-chemicals-government-study-finds\/\" title=\"Government study finds nearly 50% of U.S. tap water has 'forever chemicals'.\">polyfluorinated alkyl substances<\/a> (PFAS) that can be dangerous to human health. PFAS have been linked to things such as cancer, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, decreased fertility, liver damage and hormone suppression, and other issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reaction:<\/strong> In the words of Sydney Evans, a science analyst for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/health\/even-if-your-drinking-water-gets-a-passing-grade-it-may-not-be-safe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Environmental Working Group<\/a>, \u201cLegal does not necessarily equal safe.\u201d Indeed, for years the U.S. government has legally approved tap water despite containing such chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dr. Graham Peaslee, a University of Notre Dame professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and concurrent professor of chemistry and biochemistry, PFAS are \u201creally insidious, this poison. We are going to have to get inventive on how to filter it out for all of our days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And yet, our federal government seems to have little to no interest in solving this problem.<\/p>\n<p>So the next time a liberal tells you to trust the government always, especially as it relates to \u201cthe science,\u201d maybe it\u2019s a good idea to go over the level of PFAS in their drinking water and ask if they still think the government is always looking out for them.<\/p>\n<h3>4. UK Bank Refuses To Open Account For Conservative Parent Group: Report<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Metro Bank, a popular financial institution in the United Kingdom, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/u-k-bank-refuses-to-open-account-for-conservative-parent-group-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reportedly<\/a> refused to open a bank account for an organization that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-rundown-gop-still-demanding-answers-voters-disapprove-of-hunter-plea-deal-liberals-capitalize-on-fatal-tragedy\/\" title=\"GOP demands answers, voters disapprove of Hunter plea deal, liberals exploit tragedy.\">opposes radical gender ideology<\/a>. A spokesperson for the group called \u201cOur Duty\u201d claims that a Metro Bank employee said that Our Duty\u2019s website had ideas that, quote, \u201cconflicted with the culture and ideas we are pushing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reaction:<\/strong> Welcome to the new normal, where conservatives are discriminated against for holding basic views such as the knowledge that men cannot get pregnant. This is, unfortunately, the way the world works these days. The only solution is to stop giving your money to people who hate you.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Death In Death Valley<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>A 65-year-old man was found dead in Death Valley National Park on Monday. Officials <a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/man-found-dead-death-valley-082422175.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">believe<\/a> he died of extreme heat. The man\u2019s body was found by a maintenance worker in the late morning, inside a sedan parked about 30 yards off the road. The National Parks Services said in a statement, \u201cThe sedan\u2019s tracks ran along the road shoulder and rocky berm before veering further away from the paved road. The vehicle did not crash but had two flat tires when stopped.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reaction:<\/strong> The Left is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democracynow.org\/2023\/7\/7\/bill_mckibben_climate_crisis_degrowth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already<\/a> using this story as evidence that \u201cclimate change\u201d is going to kill us all. The fatality occurred on one of the hottest days in decades. Of course, it\u2019s named Death Valley for a reason. It gets very hot there and has posed risks to humans for hundreds of years now. Furthermore, despite headlines claiming that June has been experiencing some of the hottest days ever \u2014 that claim simply isn\u2019t true.
