The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the 41-year-old singer spotted Wembanyama, the Spurs&#8217; power forward, at Catch restaurant in the Aria Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/officials-launch-murder-probe-into-death-of-officer-following-d-c-protests\/\" title=\"Officials launch murder probe into death of officer following D.C. protests\">police announced<\/a> that no charges would be filed against the security guard, as they determined that he had simply brushed Spears&#8217; hand away from Wembanyama.<\/p>\n<p>Wembanyama, the French basketball player, stated that there were numerous people present in the restaurant when the incident took place.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So people were obviously calling me, but we had already discussed with security not to stop because it would create a crowd. So I couldn&#8217;t stop,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;And then someone grabbed me from behind.
