Semiconductor manufacturers have tried to sweep China\u2019s newly imposed measures, but Yellen has said &#8216;Not so fast.&#8217;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been particularly troubled by punitive actions that have been taken against U.S. firms in recent months,\u201d Yellen stated. \u201cI\u2019m also concerned about new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/yellen-criticizes-beijings-punitive-actions-against-american-businesses\/\" title=\"Yellen slams Beijing's 'harsh measures' on US companies.\">export controls recently announced<\/a> by China on two critical minerals used in technologies like semiconductors.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>China is the world\u2019s largest producer of these two minerals, which allows the country to have a major sway over supplies.
