Miller, who has experience teaching in K-12 schools and currently serves as a program director for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/five-cities-where-teachers-unions-are-keeping-schools-shutdown\/\" title=\"Five Cities Where Teachers Unions Are Keeping Schools Shutdown\">local school district<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wisconsin-school-district-parents-are-not-entitled-to-know-if-their-kids-are-trans\/\" title=\"Wisconsin School District: Parents Are Not \u2018Entitled To Know\u2019 If Their Kids Are Trans\">professional development facilitator<\/a>, and a public speaker, is the author of the book.<\/p>\n<p>One example of the alleged plagiarism is when Miller describes ancient African civilizations. He states, &#8220;evidence of the oldest recognizable monarchy (government ruled by a single person) in human history, preceding the rise of the earliest Kemetic kings by several generations, has been discovered in objects from ancient Nubia.&#8221; This quote closely mirrors a passage from a 1979 <em>New York Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1979\/03\/01\/archives\/ancient-nubian-artifacts-yield-evidence-of-earliest-monarchy-clues.html\">article<\/a> that reads, &#8220;Evidence of the oldest recognizable monarchy in human history, preceding the rise of the earliest Egyptian kings by several generations, has been discovered in artifacts from ancient Nubia in Africa.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The book promotes key beliefs of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">critical race theory<\/a>, including the notion that American society was &#8220;instituted by racist ideas and maintained by racist policies,&#8221; as reported by <em>National Review<\/em>. Miller, who was recently hired to help create a Black history and social justice course curriculum for high school students, expressed his desire for students to understand that the United States is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/simon-schusters-anti-racist-black-history-book-is-full-of-plagiarism-report\/\" title=\"Simon &#038; Schuster's Black History Book Accused of Plagiarism: Report\">white settler colonized state built<\/a> on racial capitalism that primarily benefits people of European descent.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the allegations, Simon &#038; Schuster has not responded to inquiries from <em>National Review<\/em> regarding the book, which is still featured on the publishing company&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Princeton University faced similar accusations of plagiarism against one of its progressive professors, Kevin Kruse.
