One of the two teens charged with the 2021 murder of their Spanish teacher has been sentenced in Iowa.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>After nearly two years, Willard Miller was sentenced to life in prison in Fairfield, Iowa on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>After he pleaded guilty to the murder Nohema Graber, his Spanish teacher in 2021, Miller was given the possibility of parole in 35 years.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the crime, the then 16-year old Miller and his accomplice Jeremy Goodale followed Graber home from school, smashed her head in with a baseball bat and dragged her body into the woods. This violent act was in retaliation to a bad grade the 66-year-old teacher gave the students.<\/p>\n<p>Miller stoically addressed the court on Thursday.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI would like to take this opportunity to take responsibility for the role that I played in the murder of Nohema Graber,\u201d he stated. \u201cI would like to apologize for my actions first and foremost to the family. I am sincerely sorry for the distress that I\u2019ve caused your family and from the bottom of my heart I am sorry for your loss.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite pleas to be tried as juveniles, the county prosecutor argued that there isn\u2019t a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/iowa-teen-sentenced-to-life-in-prison-for-murdering-teacher\/\" title=\"Iowa teen receives life sentence for teacher's murder.\">juvenile treatment program<\/a> to handle such a serious offense. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/missouri-and-louisiana-attorneys-general-grill-fauci-over-feds-collusion-with-big-tech-to-squash-covid-dissenters\/\" title=\"Missouri And Louisiana Attorneys General Grill Fauci Over Feds\u2019 Collusion With Big Tech To Squash Covid Dissenters\">judge ultimately agreed<\/a> during Thursday&#8217;s sentencing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe definition of malice is the intention or the desire, to do evil,\u201d the county prosecutor said. \u201cAnd evil does not have a birthday.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Miller\u2019s partner in crime, Jeremy Goodale, will be sentenced on August 23<sup>rd<\/sup> of this year.
