I saw it as my civic duty to alert the government beforehand and give it enough time to probe the issue,\u201d said Luft, who had been a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/turley-hard-imagine-stronger-case-special-counsel-biden-familys-influence-peddling-scheme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">witness<\/a> described for weeks as \u201cmissing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not a Republican. I\u2019m not a Democrat. I have no political motive or agenda. I did it out of deep concern that if the Bidens were to come to power, the country would be facing the same traumatic Russia collusion scandal \u2014 only this time with China. Sadly, because of the DOJ\u2019s cover-up, this is exactly what happened,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>During two days of testimony in Brussels, he said, he shared \u201cInsider knowledge about the group and the individuals that enriched the Biden family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, he gave the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-irs-whistleblower-breaks-silence-just-couldnt-silence-conscience-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Justice<\/a> the name of someone he called \u201cHunter Biden\u2019s bag man,\u201d and noted that it was 21 months before the tip was ever followed up.<\/p>\n<p>Luft said he told the investigators he met with that \u201cHunter was closely associated with a very senior retired FBI official\u201d and described his appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/whistleblowers-reveal-just-fraction-hunter-biden-wealth-including-huge-80k-diamond\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FBI<\/a> \u201cknew about from me about the Biden CFC deals before they got hold of the laptop, way before, they had enough time to investigate the issue but they didn\u2019t,\u201d he said, noting that what he said in March was confirmed with details of the contents of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of his testimony, he said, he became \u201cPublic Enemy Number One.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the past four years that followed, me, my family, my friends, my associates, we\u2019re all harassed, intimidated and finally I was prosecuted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said he was arrested in Cyrpus by members of the same U.S. attorney\u2019s office that he met with in Brussels and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cruz-calls-for-scrutiny-of-platforms-that-halted-gamestop-trading\/\" title=\"Cruz Calls For Scrutiny of Platforms That Halted GameStop Trading\">denied allegations<\/a> that he was an arms dealer. He later skipped bail, fearing he would not receive a fair trial.<\/p>\n<p>He said the charges against him show the \u201clength the government is willing to go to weaponize the justice system to punish whistleblowers like me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that while he faces charges, \u201cthe Biden systemic influence-peddling on behalf of foreign governments for which they raked millions goes unpunished.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet it sink in,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI, who volunteered to inform the U.S. government about a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/i-am-now-being-hunted-missing-biden-corruption-witness-details-allegations-against-biden-family\/\" title=\"'Biden Corruption Witness Reveals Allegations Against Biden Family: Now Hunted'\">potential security breach<\/a> and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed \u2014 and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI warned the government about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/santa-clara-university-encourages-students-to-snitch-on-party-going-peers\/\" title=\"Santa Clara University Encourages Students To Snitch On Party-Going Peers\">potential risk<\/a> to the integrity of the 2020 elections,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAsk yourself, who is the real criminal in this story?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3>House Oversight Committee Chairman Republican Rep.
